Great experience from start to finish!!!! Our pilot Dwight Cramer was an old pro and made us feel comfortable with a new experience. We flew on June 26th, 2026. I wish I could share photos from the day with the other two balloons of passengers flying with us. And see their photos of us.

What an incredible experience! We had been thinking about trying hot air ballooning for a while, and after seeing a balloon flying nearby this summer, we finally decided to go for it and buy tickets for our family of four (the kids are 11 and 13). We looked at several companies, all with wonderful reviews, but we knew that Letchworth offered one of the most spectacular landscapes in the region. We decided to book with Balloons Over Letchworth by Liberty Balloon Company, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Flying over Letchworth Gorge—the “Grand Canyon of the East”—and following the river canyon carved by the Genesee River was absolutely amazing. The views were breathtaking, and seeing the gorge and surrounding landscape from the air was something we’ll never forget. Our pilot, Lance, is one of the owners, and he did a fantastic job preparing us for everything we were going to experience. Throughout the flight, he answered all of our questions about ballooning and the region, shared fascinating history about hot air ballooning, and made the entire experience both exciting and relaxing. The basket felt extremely secure and was surprisingly comfortable, which made it easy to simply settle in and take in the awe-inspiring scenery around us. We went into this thinking it would probably be our family’s one and only hot air balloon adventure. Now that we’re back on the ground, though, we’re all already talking about going up again! Thank you, Liberty Balloon Company, for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend Balloons Over Letchworth to anyone looking for a unique adventure with truly spectacular views!

Planned on coming to the park over the labor day weekend. As I was researching the park I came across this. I had always wanted to experience this so it was a no brainer. Amazing and clam experience. The pilot was very informative and friendly. The views were breathtaking. Definitely a great experience I recommend visitors do. Nothing to worry about if your scared of heights. I myself am scared of heights and would do it again. It's a very relaxing experience.
