Doors-Off NYC Helicopter Photo Experience

OMG! What a thrilling experience it was. I lived the best day of my life. To start with, we booked our tickets online for 1 pm today. Had to reach here one hour and fifteen minutes early. There is a safety training session which u need to attend. And ur all set to fly. Mickey was a wonderful guide throughout the training session. We had the best pilot. He was so smooth and swift the turns, truly overwhelming. Also there are the only one who fly above the central park. It was the best experience ever.

Overall, everything is fine. This is a truly exciting and incredible experience that you can treat yourself to if you're visiting New York for the first time or just being here as a tourist. The team is very friendly, and everything is pleasant, fast, clear, and to the point. But now let's talk about the nuances. My friend and I watched a ton of videos on the company's website, in people's reviews, on their personal Instagram accounts, and on the company's official Instagram — and literally everywhere, people are taking photos of their feet inside the helicopter over the city. It looks like they're flying quite low, which makes you want this flight even more and makes you shell out a pretty substantial amount, especially if you buy extra services or book a sunset flight. So, today we had a very nice pilot — we won't mention his name — but there was no opportunity to stick our feet out at any point during the flight because we were flying at a fairly high speed. And as a skydiver with a valid license, I know the difference between high speed for an aircraft and low speed, when you can let a passenger take a photo or stick a hand or a foot out the window. Also, we were flying extremely high above the city, so we couldn't get anything like the photos shown in those possibly paid reviews. Overall, I'll repeat, we are satisfied, but keep in mind: either those reviews are bought, or you might just get unlucky with your pilot, who won't go out of their way to make you happy and give you the full experience you saw in the pictures that hooked you.

Reception, organization, the flight, everything was perfect. We booked in advance the 16’ doors off flight, but on the spot got a good proce offer for the flight extension to 30’. Honestly, we are very glad we accepted the offer since the shorter flight would feel really short. Everybody is very kind and helpful. The preparation and flight is very well organized. This may sound a bit exaggerated or sponsored but honestly this is how it was for us. It was our first helicopter flight and my companion was quite affraid. The crew helped us a lot, encouraged and we felt great. The pilot, Robert, made a great and smooth flight while also being a great host. Mick was also great for encouragement and host for the van ride to the heliport. Keep up the good work!!

Me and my brother are visiting the USA for a Holiday. New York is one of the Cities that we’re visiting. A flight in a helicopter is than the best way to see a lot of the city in once. When we came in the building we were welcomed hearty by the reception. They directed us to the right steps and showed us what the plan was. Then Mickey and Aly helped us great by helping us into our harness and with the rest of the safety instructions. Mickey brought us towards the helicopter with a great sense of humor. Shameful we forgot the name of our pilot but he was amazing, a great pilot, told us a lot about the flight and the buildings and let us take enough time to take pictures. After all it was truly an amazing experience, so thank you!

It was the best thing I’ve ever done in my life! Flying in a helicopter, it’s easier and better than I expected. I thought I’d have a panic attack, but everything went so smoothly because of FlyNYON company. They made my first ever flight unbelievably good. Thank you to Louise and our pilot (gosh, I forgot his name) for the best experience ever. They were very kind, friendly, helpful, and made sure our flight would be great. We flew easily and gently. 30 minutes went smoothly and very nicely . It was good weather, and all FlyNYON team members made sure that we were having a great time and experience here.
