Natural Quarry Swimming at Carrigan Farms

I visited Carrigan Farms and found it to be a nice place to cool off on a hot day. Facilities are clean, maintained, and well-organized. The property itself isn't huge, but there is plenty to do to enjoy a afternoon in the water. Coming from Europe, paying a $40 entry fee feels extremely expensive for what is offered. To top it off, you aren't allowed to bring your own food or drinks inside (outside water is permitted), which feels unreasonable after paying that entrance fee. They also require you to pass a brief swim test if you want to swim without a life vest. While it makes sense for safety, it was definitely something I had never seen before. Overall, it is a fun experience, good for cooling down, and worth going at least once, but the high price point holds it back from a full 5 stars.

This place is amazing! We took our 2 boys (11 and 15) and had the best time! You can tell this place is ran by great people. All the employees were so friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! Freshly made on the grill. We definitely will be back!

There are few businesses that have the integrity that Carrigan Farms has. My husband and I planned our destination wedding here with Terrell. We had a virtual tour last fall and decided on a smaller weekday wedding. Throughout the whole process, communication was top notch. All questions were answered in a timely manner and staff was extremely helpful. They were already 5 stars in my mind. Then, the unthinkable happened. My dad had a massive stroke a week before the wedding and wasn't expected to recover. This was a destination wedding for everyone, so all of sudden, my guest count started diminishing as my immediate family needed to stay by his side. We called Carrigan just to give them a heads up and Kelly and Doug's response was... shocking. Not only did they say that they hadn't ordered the food yet, and could wait until the last minute for us to give them an updated headcount, but they even offered to move our wedding to another weekday if needed. After all the horror stories you hear about getting nickel and dimed through weddings, Carrigan was a light. We went on with the wedding, and staff was so attentive to everyone, especially Johnny. The venue was perfect, the setting was beautiful, the children had so much fun playing on the beach, and I'm still hearing compliments about the food. An amazing event for booking Carrigan Farms sight unseen and without tasting the food (we live in Seattle). Thanks again, Carrigan! My dad passed 4 hours before my ceremony, and I'm so grateful I have the wonderful memories of this happy event to think of.

Save your appetite because the food here is actually really really good. I’m talking burgers and hotdogs done on the grill as you order with produce from right on the farm. We were all pleasantly surprised and had our dinner during a swimming break. Did I mention..beers on draft that you can swim around with?!?

I I really love this place! The food is good, the water is clean and beautiful, and the whole area is a great value. The jumping cliffs are a lot of fun, and overall it’s an awesome place to spend the day. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is the inconvenience at the entrance. They only accept cash for admission, which can be difficult for visitors who are from out of town and may not have cash on hand. Accepting credit cards would make the experience much more convenient. Other than that, it’s a fantastic place and definitely worth visiting.
