Guided Kayak Tours at King's Landing: Eco River & Emerald Adventures

We did the shuttle run yesterday from kings landing. I booked online and the process was smooth, check -in was easy with detailed instructions given by the friendly girl at the counter. The pick up process was very organized and the shuttle driver was a riot. What a great personality she had. I would highly recommend this trip for experienced paddlers only. Heed the warning on their site. Be prepared to paddle the whole way. 8.5 miles. There is no downstream current to push you along except at the switchbacks. At that point you better know what you are doing or else you with be spending a lot of time in the brush.it took us just under four hrs to complete this portion of the paddle. I would also highly recommend doing the emerald cut. It is a 1 hr paddle against the current and 30 mins back with the current. This was one of the most challenging and rewarding paddling trips I have taken.

10/10 Florida springs experience! I was a solo traveller, so I decided to take a guided 2.5 hours tour with Nigel. We were a group of 3 and he was a great guide, made sure that the whole group was safe throughout the tour. We saw SO MANY animals up real close - birds, turtles, a raccoon and a gator! The river can get crowded, so I strongly advise the morning tours - the earlier, the better. The company provides everything you need, just bring a small waterproof clutch for your phone (they sell them on the spot too). There’s lockers, changing rooms, bathrooms and a little shop.

Had a wonderful time. Staff was great. The views and experience were top tier. I did notice the tour guides passing by and they seemed friendly and upbeat so for anyone who doesn’t feel confident enough to do your own little adventure, the guides are a great option. We did our own tour and it was fantastic.

First time visiting Kings Landing. We did the sunset guided tour through the emerald cut a few days ago, and what an amazing experience!! It truly is such a unique experience and our tour guide Kim is THE BEST!!! She is kind, professional and very knowledgeable about the surroundings. Kim’s joyful spirit is definitely our trip highlight! We would love to do another tour with her during daytimes in the future.

This was a great experience. My husband and I tandem kayaked the full 8 mile trip. I definitely suggest at the beginning to go to the right and enjoy the beautiful water. When you head back to continue to the left beautiful as well a great balance of shade and sun. From mile marker 3-5 welcome to the best of Florida. Gators wild life serene u will think your lost and will need to paddle more and there is no current to assist until you see the mile 5 sign. Mile 4 was no where to be found. Mile 6-8 you can enjoy more current and clearer water. We finished in about 30 minutes to spare but we did take our time and enjoy. There isn’t any bathrooms at the end so stop at wekiva and use theirs or you will have to walk completely around the parking lot. There isn’t any guidance as to what to do with the kayaks at the end. We pulled ours out and brought it to the grass. When the shuttle arrived the driver was full of personality and make our ride back fun! Highly recommend Rick springs bar and grill for lunch sketchy on the out side eat out back completely redone and food was great!!!!
