The most tranquil place I have stayed ! The relaxing, upscale decor , the beautiful mood lighting the whole vibe was amazing. The beds and linen were so luxurious I actually ordered the pillows and sheets while I was there. Every amenity you can think of from sunscreen to bug spray to a first aid kit and smores sticks - the provided coffee was amazing and the bathroom soap, shampoo and lotions were so rich and fresh smelling. not to mention the STARTER logs for a quick fire start. The aquatic pool was perfectly cool and amazing for a post hike dip. Stunning place - will recommend to everyone ! This place screams relaxation and luxury

The Cliffs 2 Bedroom Bungalow We recently stayed at The Cliffs in the Hocking Hills area thanks to our daughter and son-in-law who gifted us a package for Christmas. Great idea! What an amazing couple of days! This place is an experience to say the least. You really don’t have to go anywhere else, but hiking in the Hocking Hills State Park or many of the other activities in the area are within a short drive. There are many steps as you follow the boardwalk to the bungalows, but my husband and I are both 70 and we do workout every week and were fine with the jaunt both down and up the steps. The bungalow was tastefully decorated and saying it was serene is an understatement. We heard no traffic noise or even people. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is for you. The king bedroom had a beautiful view as we looked out to the beautiful lush greenery of trees. We woke up to a doe sleeping under the tree in front of the window. The kitchen was nicely appointed and had everything we needed for our short stay. I love how they utilized the space. A drop down table from the wall was very convenient in where it was placed. They certainly did not skimp on the appliances and table as they were all extremely nice. The deck with the Solo stove and lights was a very special place in the evening to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee in the morning. You could hear the waterfalls from the pool, the tree frogs and birds. If you don’t like being in the midst of nature this would not be for you. We did not use the personal hot tub, but it was in a discreet place to the side of the deck down a short few steps. The pool…AMAZING!!! It was like we were kids again playing in our favorite swimming hole. Be advised. It is so natural that there is a little bit of algae here and there, but that’s to be expected with the type of natural pool that this is. It’s stunning. We also loved the taco kit and beverage package that was purchased with homemade s’mores. The food was exceptional!! We had enough left over for the next day’s lunch! We highly recommend doing this at least part of your stay. Who really wants to cook on vacation? We hope to return again in the near future. I recommend it for peace and tranquility, especially if you just need to retreat for a while. It will bring you peace which is something we can all use more of. May God bless your stay in this amazing property! 2 Thessalonians 3:16 “Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every

We had a wonderful stay at Cantwell Lodge and couldn’t have asked for a better property for our group of 18. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and exceptionally well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The accommodations were spacious and allowed everyone to spread out without ever feeling crowded. The amenities were top-notch, and it was clear that great attention was paid to both comfort and detail throughout the property. From gathering together in the common spaces to enjoying the peaceful surroundings, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. Cantwell Lodge was the perfect home base for our group, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and spacious retreat. It’s also a close enough drive to enjoy all the state parks for hiking and exploring. We look forward to returning!

This place was paradise! It was such a wonderful getaway from Columbus with our 4-month-old baby. Even though it's not far away, it feels like you've escaped much farther from home. We've visited Hocking Hills several times in the past, but this is the only place that has felt truly luxurious. It stands apart from anything else we've experienced in the area. The food was excellent, and having everything available on-site made it incredibly relaxing. It felt more like a resort than a typical getaway. We can't wait to come back!

The pool, falls and forrest setting were breathtaking. We loved the small touches like board games, record player with records, coffee, sun screen, they truly thought of everything. We saw a family of deer while sitting on the deck drinking coffee. It is a hilly property so be prepared for lots of stairs. Worth every step!
