Dive into the Crystal Waters of Ginnie Springs

I love the place clean and very accommodating 24/7 the security guard are rooming the whole area. Place is very beautiful water is very clear we going thier July 4th of 2 nights camping with friends We love watching amazing fire works and live band. We'll be coming back again soon. Super fun place. The springs are big. What I love about this place is that open container is allowed, unlike most other places. Can go for a nice paddle boarding, drop a cooler full of drinks on your paddle board, play some music and chill out for the day. Comes with some trade offs, like loud people who may be drunk and loud, but other than that, super fun! You feel free here and not policed. However, the front gate girl was rude. She said she’ll let us in this time and that next time we need to assign tickets or something like that. I had already purchased 3 tickets for me and my other 2 friends so there’s no way I could be denied or would let that happen after driving 4 hours there. I purchased all 3 tickets with everyone having their own, I don’t see what I did wrong, and why there was a need to be rude. Would do 5 stars but had to do 4 because of that encounter. Other than that nothing to complain about!

Ginnie Springs is truly a beautiful place and one of the most naturally stunning campgrounds in Florida. The crystal-clear springs, peaceful river, huge trees, and overall scenery make it feel like a little paradise. During the day, floating in the water and enjoying the outdoors was an amazing experience, and it’s easy to understand why so many people love coming here. That said, the biggest downside was the lack of enforcement of the campground rules. The posted rules clearly state that there should be no loud noise after midnight, including music and generators, and also no drugs. Unfortunately, neither of these rules seemed to be strictly enforced during our stay. We came hoping to wake up hearing nature sounds, birds, and the peaceful environment the springs are known for — not generators running all night and reggaeton music blasting at full volume into the early morning hours. Another issue was the restrooms. They definitely need more frequent cleaning and better restocking of toilet paper throughout the day and night. Considering the campground charges around $40 per person per night to camp, (it used to be $25 only 3 years ago), it feels reasonable to expect stronger overnight security and better maintenance of the facilities. Overall, Ginnie Springs is incredibly beautiful and worth experiencing for the natural environment alone, but management really needs to improve rule enforcement and campground maintenance so everyone can enjoy the peaceful outdoor experience they paid for. Remind people that it's a family-oriented place and not a party place at night.

Ginnie Springs is truly an amazing destination and one of our favorite springs in Florida. We've visited several springs over the years, and Ginnie Springs, along with Silver Glen Springs, ranks at the very top of our list. The water is crystal clear, the scenery is beautiful, and there is so much to explore. One of the best experiences is floating down the river and stopping at the different springs along the way. It makes for a fun, relaxing, and unforgettable day surrounded by nature. Our recommendations are to purchase tickets online in advance, arrive early, and visit on a weekday if possible. Weekends can get very crowded, and arriving early makes a big difference. We also appreciated the facilities, including clean restrooms and hot-water showers, which made the experience even more comfortable. Overall, Ginnie Springs is absolutely worth visiting and a place we would happily return to again and again. Highly recommended! 🌿💙🏞️☀️😊

I camped solo for a few days and felt safe in my quiet wing of the campground. Thank you for the privilege it is to sleep safely in the woods. My time at Ginnie Springs feeds my soul! This was before I set out on a 7am paddle by myself. It was fun armstand practice on my paddle board for an audience of light. I was relieved I still could unload and carry by myself because no one else was there! I felt so privileged to be alone in this beautiful place
