Dive into the Crystal Waters of Ginnie Springs

We rode our motorcycle here from Miami for a short weekend trip to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. It was my first time in a place like this, and the experience was truly unique. The turquoise water and the natural sinkhole were stunning! I definitely recommend bringing your own floaties and snorkeling masks to avoid paying rental fees. The showers and restrooms were clean, which I appreciated. The only downside was the noise at night — I woke up around four times because of loud partying at nearby campsites, so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Floating down the river on inflatable mattresses was my favorite part — super relaxing and fun! I’d love to come back again, but next time for at least three days. There are also volleyball courts on site, and you can buy firewood there to make a campfire at your site. However, if you want to save a little, there are spots just outside the campground where you can get wood for $5 No pets

Beautiful spot for family and friends to hang out. If you bring kids make sure to watch them. The water gets pretty deep. Speaking of which, it is crystal clear in the springs. It looks like a swimming pool! The whole place is very clean too, didn't see much trash if any. The lazy river is shallow enough to stand and swim in comfortably. You can rent a float too. There are also other rental equipment available and a store for related supplies. There were at least 2 food trucks there, and plenty of bathrooms. This is a fun place to go and pass the time/get exercise. Can't wait to go again.

We visited during a weekday in July. While there were plenty of people around, it was not crowded. All the staff members we encountered were polite and friendly. I saw a lot of previous Google reviews stating that they were rude but never saw anything unprofessional. It was quite the opposite in our experience. The springs and environment was beautiful! Hard to overstate how cool the natural springs were. We saw plenty of fish and turtles but no gators. There were only two negatives to our trip. 1) While the vast majority of visitors were friendly, multiple groups were smoking pot, doing jello shots, listening to loud music, and dropping lots of foul language. 2) The small flies were out in force when walking around but didn't seem interested in water areas. In totality, it was totally worth the price of admission and dealing with the two annoyances. You can bring bug spray and your own music if needed.

This is our 2nd visit to Ginnie Springs & they are still beautiful! The staff is fantastic & offered us some great recommendations on how to navigate the trails. And the people we encountered were friendly & festive - the springs are chilly - but the water is clear & there are some deep drops that my adventurous daughter & I to explored. We are definitely making this trio again 🩷❤️🩷

I hadn’t been here in many years. Reception and facilities were very clean and organized. But the crowds and now - no tram or bus to take you back up the river. I’m no lazy guy, but that really stunk. Apparently really popular with everyone - so music blaring and people right up on you as you go down the river. If you like the idea of being in the outdoors with a house party or a crowded mall - this is the place for you. Wildlife and clear, cool water still relaxing.
