Dive into the Heart of Devil's Den

Booked some snorkling while on vacation in FL. This was super neat experience. Really enjoyed snorkling and seeing all the fish. The light shinning through the hole at top made for great views. My parents came along and although they didn't want to swim, they were able to walk down and watch us n take a few pictures. Making a reservation was easy. Cool thing to do with kids. We made an early reservation, so it wasn't crowded at all, most of the time we had the "den" to ourselves. The temp of the water was about 72, so felt cold at first getting in, but once you just go for it n get past that it was fine. Think we stayed in the whole 90min. My younger son couldn't get enough. The only downfall was we were done in time for lunch, but there was no food available, so we left and went n grabbed lunch elsewhere. Read reviews about sometimes a food truck or a Cafe, but nothing while we were there. Otherwise a must do!!

I had an excellent experience snorkeling at Devil’s Den Spring in Florida. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the cleanliness of the facilities was top-notch. However, we found it a bit strange that during our time in the water and exploring the cenote, we didn’t see any lifeguards present in the area in case of an emergency.

Without a doubt this is always a recomendation for colleagues traveling anywhere near this area. With a pretty constant water temperature, this place is a solid dive or swim year round. Loved our camping trip here, which allows close and early spring access as well as a place to unload and explore the surrounding areas, such as the botanical gardens nearby. Would go again any day

I highly recommend going at least once to experience such an amazing and beautiful place. It's $25 for 90 minutes of snorkeling and $15 for the rental package of snorkeling gear. It's really neat walking down, and once you see the water at the top of the stairs it's breathtaking. I would highly recommend during the summer since the water is 72 and the only sunlight is the opening above, but I also went during early spring so I am not sure if the cavern is warmer during the summer but it was a little brisk. There is a botanical garden next door once you are done swimming at Devils Den!

I dove at Devil's Den in Williston, FL with a friend, and it was an awesome experience all around. The staff were friendly, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly. With a huge nod to James, who took great care of us. There was even a food truck on-site with surprisingly great food at very reasonable prices—definitely a nice bonus between dives. The diving itself inside the Den was absolutely stunning. Crystal-clear water, fish, unique rock formations, and epic swim-throughs made the whole trip worth it. A little busy at times, but well managed and it never felt overwhelming. I’d recommend arriving early in the day to beat the crowd and get the best visibility. A huge stand out was the vibe—everyone there was respectful and focused on enjoying the experience. None of the party crowd you sometimes see at other spots, just people who genuinely love diving and nature. If you're thinking about diving in North Central Florida, Devil's Den should be at the top of your list. Definitely going back to this one!
