Dive into the Heart of Devil's Den

If you are going for the day to snorkel or scuba in the den than its a great experience. The lagoon is a very nice idea however the water was dyed such a dark blue you couldn't see hardly anything so you were stepping on pipes, stones, hitting legs and feet into random walls or steps, the ground in it was slimy so you slipped and slide. The very center of the lagoon was nice if you can make it there without being injured. The water us clear, cold and clean. Everything has signs on it that it closes at 5pm which is rough for people camping. The campground for RV does have full hookups and nice shade however there were German roaches all in the downed leaves and flys all over both flying onto the rvs, tables and chairs. It made it rough for the time you want to be outside and cooking. Plus the danger of bringing them home. We ended up with several in our car. The staff indicated that they do have pest control come once a month. So maybe it was the time of year but I would RV camp with caution. I think that there could be a lot of potential if it was better maintained.

This place is a sight to see and experience. For the fee you get 90 mins in the Devils Den with no more that 45 people at a time. Which you have plenty of room. You also get access to the man made lagoon, which is pretty impressive. Food truck are usually available, if they do offer park style grills and benches. Bring you camera for sure.

This is our second trip here. Staff is so friendly and helpful. We love to scuba and relax when we come. The only disappointment was we had left our dive batteries for our lights four hours back and needed to rent the lights and the cost of two lights were almost as expensive as renting a two dive tanks. Ouch! But definitely worth the four hour drive we drove from our vacation home in West palm. We will be back!

Our family had a unforgettable experience Devil’s Den is truly one of a kind. Swimming inside a prehistoric spring cave is as cool as it sounds. The water is crystal clear and stays around 72°F year-round – refreshing but not freezing. Snorkeling here is amazing; you can see fossil beds and even small fish darting around the rocks. The visibility is unreal, easily 50+ feet. A few things to know before you go: · Reservations are required (book online in advance, especially on weekends).

Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring is a fantastic, peaceful spot with an incredibly cool atmosphere. The water is absolutely amazing, and it was great getting to see the little fish swimming around. A quick heads-up: the water temperature is quite chilly! If you are sensitive to the cold, I highly recommend bringing or renting a wetsuit so you can comfortably enjoy the swim. Overall, an awesome experience!
