Dunlap Hollow Luxury Cabins & A-Frames in Hocking Hills

We just spent the weekend with our kids and grandkids at Dunlap Hollow A-Frame. What a beautiful home with the best views from every window in the house. The location was perfect; quiet and so relaxing sitting on the deck or patio listening to all the sounds of nature. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve meals. The bathrooms were beautiful and showers were hot. The bedrooms were comfy and each one had a spectacular view of the beautiful surrounding area. Our kids ventured out on some of the trails, even with quite a bit of rain the day prior to our arrival, and enjoyed the views and time together. We made many great memories with lots of pictures taken. Thank you to the owners for a beautiful welcoming home to enjoy a wonderful mini vacation with our family!

What a beautiful, romantic place to stay. My wife and I decided to take a quick getaway for our anniversary. We chose The Cave because we wanted to experience something different. It was amazing. We had so much fun. You just have to experience it yourself. The host were nice and responsive. I read some of the other reviews that were less than 5 stars bc of water challenges. I can only imagine the upkeep when dealing with the natural elements while staying in a CAVE! I can say this, it appears the owners have addressed all of the issues. We stayed in April after several rainy days and it was raining during our stay. The cave was dry and perfect. We just loved it. From the cave it's a 5 to 10 drive to 4 major Hocking Hills attraction. It is perfect. 100% worth the price to experience something so unique. We are actually planning another trip to the Dunlap A Frame with kids later this year!

Just recently returned from a weekend getaway specially from the cottage retreat. 10/10 getaway. The photos are accurate, the space is clean and everything makes sense (towel and coat racks where you would need them located, night stands, extra blankets and towels, pots and pans) The location was so peaceful and the owners were prompt to text us back when we had questions. Also a big win, water pressure is perfect and the water got nice and hot (perfect for relaxing after a long day hiking.) I'm working on convincing my in-laws to watch my kids again next year my husband and I can go back!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning design and attention to detail. The cave is a perfect blend of luxury and nature—beautifully crafted with modern comforts while preserving the raw, organic beauty of the stone surroundings. The interior is cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully appointed. The huge windows let in just the right amount of light, and the secluded setting made for an incredibly peaceful and relaxing getaway. We especially loved the outdoor hot tub and fire pit—ideal for stargazing and unwinding after a day of hiking. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills, it’s close to amazing trails and scenic views, yet feels totally private and serene. The hosts were wonderful, responsive, and clearly put so much care into making this a truly unique experience. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind escape into nature without sacrificing comfort, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

We booked a trip last minute and this is a great location. The cottage had everything we needed and when we needed additional wood for the fire, it was right down the drive. The cottage was clean and bed comfortable. The weather was cool, and the hot tub warm and perfect after a day of hiking. It was so peaceful out in the woods and so beautiful. We come to Hocking Hills quite often and this is definitely one of our favorite stays! We will be back!
