Warm Springs Pools Soak at The Omni Homestead Resort

I have had the pleasure of enjoying this retreat multiple times over the years, and many times close to the Christmas Holidays where they go all out in decorating the property, making it look like a natural wonderland! This place is huge! But don't let the size fool ya! The service and care that goes into taking care of all who visit is incredible. And, the Homestead has so much to offer, there is no way anyone can take advantage of them on one stay. If you can't enjoy a stay here, you've got a serious problem! There are so many things to enjoy, it would take more than one review. From great dining in their restaurants, skeet shooting, indoor min-mall shopping that looks like a village, pools, water park, horseback riding - and more. If relaxing's your game, here it is. The springs, sauna, spa, to lounging on the old-fashioned porches, to strolling down beautiful paths, picnicking... Wow! This is highly recommended for families of all ages and romantic seclusion for lovers! Been there a few times and plan on going back many more times. Check it out!

The location for this hotel is amazing. You have the hot springs to enjoy and a ski area as well within a short shuttle ride. The building is very impressive and you can feel the history as you're walking the hallways. There is a large number of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The check in staff was very nice. We got offered champagne and our son got a little care package that included a few snacks and a teddy bear. The rooms in our part of the hotel have definitely seen better days. The shower was weird and we didn't have hot water in the evening. It would be fine in the morning. We did ice skating and outdoor pool on the same day and there was only one person working both. He was clearly overwhelmed but did the best he could with renting out skates to people. That meant he was unable to replenish the towels in the pool locker rooms. Despite mediocre room, I would definitely return to enjoy the hot springs pools, ice skating and skiing.

We did not stay at the resort but came for the atmosphere. Apparently resort has between 3 pm and 4 pm social hour and even walk ins are welcomed. We had tea and mini sconces. I wanted to pay but it was complementary. I like this classic architecture and a beautiful gallery with Corinthian columns with elegant chairs and sofas where you can seat and enjoy the tea. I also bought good books about local natural springs. The staff is super friendly!

It was stunning when we got to the place, it was huge!!Also, a downside is the parking you have to wait 30 minutes just for them to get your car! You have to pay a fee and they insist that you have to pay 35 dollars to do it!there's no other way of getting YOUR CAR! Overall the service was nice we loved the afternoon tea party they even had cookies to make us feel fancy! I just wish there was something other than that that was free! Another upside is the pool it's STUNNING and it's free!and it's open 24/7

A wonderful resort with every amenity you could ever want. The activities are diverse and enjoyable for all ages. The shops are beautiful and an added bonus! The different dining options will satisfy your palette. A great place to enjoy!
