The interior and lighting are outstanding. The pools are great, with outdoor views, soothing salt water, and a warm temperature. I truly enjoyed the steam bath with a menthol fragrance—it felt especially good for a cold and headache. The music selection is also praiseworthy. The staff are helpful and friendly. I had a deep tissue massage, and it was definitely good, but from my experience, I’ve had better treatments at other spas. Overall, I had a great experience and hope to visit again to explore other services as well.

We visited Aire Ancient Baths in Tribeca on a Sunday evening and it was exactly the kind of reset we needed. Coming on a Sunday was a great call — it was quiet, uncrowded, and we could genuinely unwind without feeling rushed or surrounded by people. The spa itself is stunning and much larger than you’d expect — spread across multiple floors with a real sense of grandeur. Everything was spotlessly clean throughout, and there were plenty of attentive staff around without it ever feeling intrusive. We did massages before spending time in the baths, and the massages were excellent. The only minor note is that the massage rooms are on the smaller side, but honestly it’s a small detail that didn’t take anything away from the overall experience. After the massage we stayed and soaked in the spa area, which was the perfect way to end the evening. The atmosphere is moody, candlelit and incredibly relaxing — you really do lose track of time. For the quality of the experience, the value is genuinely very good. We’ll absolutely be coming back. If you’re in NYC and need a proper day of relaxation, this is the place.

I've been coming here for quite a while now, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The facilities are always clean, relaxing, and thoughtfully maintained, and the staff consistently creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. I especially want to recognize Maximo, the Operations Manager. During a previous visit, there was a mishap with an experience I had paid for. Instead of brushing it aside, Maximo went above and beyond by inviting me back for a complimentary experience. It wasn't something I expected, but it meant a great deal to me. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine commitment to making things right turned an unfortunate situation into an example of outstanding customer service. What impressed me most wasn't the complimentary experience itself, but the care and integrity behind the gesture. It's clear that Maximo and the entire team truly value their guests and want every visit to be a great one. That level of service is exactly why I've been a loyal customer and why I plan to remain one for years to come. If you're looking for a place that not only offers an incredible bathhouse experience but also stands behind its commitment to its customers, I can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you, Maximo, and the entire team, for always making me feel valued.

Aire Ancient Baths was absolutely incredible. This experience relaxed me so deeply that my friend and I literally slept for 15 hours straight afterward — I don’t think I’ve ever been that calm in my life. The space itself is stunning: brick interiors, massive wooden chandeliers hanging above the baths, and an overall atmosphere that feels luxurious and serene. There are many different baths and jacuzzis with varying temperatures, and you’re encouraged to take your time. It’s very quiet and calming, which makes it easy to fully disconnect and relax. They also offer a salt scrub shower that leaves your skin feeling unbelievably smooth and silky. Afterward, you’re given a fresh juice of your choice (there are four options on the menu), which is a really nice, refreshing touch. The staff were professional, polite, and attentive throughout. The steam room, showers, robes, and facilities were spotless, and I really appreciated how much space there was in the post-shower area to dry your hair and get ready comfortably. The massage was excellent, and such a thoughtful detail was when they put your rubber spa shoes back on your feet afterward — warm and incredibly soothing. The body scrub and hair mask were a huge treat as well. I received this as a bachelorette gift from a friend, and it was hands down the best gift ever. The only tiny note — and this is not the spa’s fault — is that I accidentally left my bathing suit behind. When I returned later that day, it wasn’t in lost and found, so it may have gotten mixed up in laundry or taken by mistake. I did notice a few bathing suits in lost and found, so a small reminder sign near the exit might help guests remember to grab theirs. Overall, this was a flawless, unforgettable experience, and I can’t recommend Aire Ancient Baths enough. I will absolutely be back.

Okay so, my husband book an experience for us yesterday at AIRE for my 35th birthday. We are big spa ppl and we’re looking forward to this, my husband prebooked and spent 750 on this day. When we got there we were told that we would get a buzz when we were next for massages. After about two plus hours we asked staff about our massage time. We were told there was a room issue but I truly believe they forgot to schedule our massages. We were not on the list for the day. They offered us a refund but this honestly ruined the day. They offered us to come back but that day we went there was a flood and it took us a long time to get there from Brooklyn due to the weather. I also had a horrible knot in my back and my husband even asked at the front desk about someone strong to assist. So I’m going to be honest, I think aire is expensive for what it has. It had a float pool under the stairs in the new area and anytime someone walked to the pool on the top floor you would get floor drippings on your face. Not fun and not the best place to place this area. They had one sauna and I felt they didn’t do enough with the space. The float pool should be on the top floor where there is a sky light, they need another sauna and they need better scheduling. Overall I wasn’t impressed and I most likely will not go back to this location.
