The adventure begins at the North Creek Railroad Station, where participants are shuttled to the starting point of their railbiking journey. The tour offers several options, including the North Bridge Run and the South River Run. The North Bridge Run is a 7-mile round trip that takes you over a stunning trestle bridge across the Hudson River, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness. Alternatively, the South River Run covers a slightly longer 7.5-mile route that hugs the riverbank, offering opportunities to spot local wildlife and enjoy the area’s natural beauty. Revolution Rail is definitely an experience you aren't going to get in many places. The views are mostly trees and train tracks, but there are a few really lovely views over the river. We had a mixed-age group (teenagers to late 60s) and everyone was able to manage the rail bikes with little difficulty. Our tour took a little over 2 hours. Make a reservation if you will be here in the high tourist season.

Very nice experience. Not a lot of uphill on the trail over the Hudson and it is beautiful. Fall would definitely be perfect with the leaves changing. This was our 3rd trip and we always enjoy it.

I loved loved this activity, and so did my kids and husband. The staff were so nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. Bus driver Paul was funny, and so were the guides once we got to the site. The scenery was beautiful (spring). The one thing they mentioned online before booking is bug repellent. I tell you, it's a must!! There are a lot of them. It's a peaceful ride, and I recommend it.

We had a fantastic time rail biking! The views were phenomenal! Ed and Noah were very kind and extra accommodating for us. This was one of the best things we did on our honeymoon in the Adirondacks. Can't wait to go again in the future!
