I’d like to sincerely thank everyone working at Grandfather Mountain 🏔️. The staff are incredibly respectful, friendly, and truly make the whole experience even better. It was an amazing and memorable visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to create special memories—whether for yourself, with friends, family, or as a couple. Everything about Grandfather Mountain is absolutely worth it. One of the best experiences I’ve had, and I would definitely love to come back again!

Definitely worth visiting. It's certainly neat to stroll across a suspension bridge at 1 mile above sea level. I feel like it's a little overpriced but the place is certainly well maintained and you will have a nice day here for sure.

Although expensive to get into the park (especially if you have children) it is a wonderful experience. The small zoo and nature center offer educational and fun activities throughout the day, and the animal keepers are always willing to answer questions about the animals kept there. There is a theater in the nature center and they had live music the day we visited. Once you are in the park, you only pay for any extras you want to purchase. There are trails and breathtaking views just about everywhere you look. Be prepared for weather changes. They happen quickly.

I enjoyed my experience at Grandfather Mountain! It was such a surreal experience to see. The staff are also very lovely :) My only issue is that the ticket prices are a little bit expensive but honestly after entering and seeing the amazing views and what the park has to offered, it’s definitely worth it! Would go back again hopefully by the end of this year :)

Much better than expected. NOT a state park, but held in trust, managed by a foundation (that's why there is an admission. PLAN the visit: 1)Recommend getting on-line timed reservation; 2) a Park guide (online) shows all trails and their difficulties; 3)don't even think of wearing sandals,̈ crocs, or open-toed shoes; 4) for hikes less than 2-hours, keep the water in the car, but carry snacks; 5) visit the Top Shop for souvenirs, clothing, and snacks. Loved the Swinging Bridge, the Black Rock, and the shorter Grandfather hikes where the smell of the rhododendrons welcomes all hikers.
