I’m not a huge hiker so the trail was definitely challenging. Don’t forget to make a reservation on their website in advance to enter the trail! The parking lot is very organized as there is a park ranger there to monitor and ensure people park properly to accommodate for all the cars. There’s a lot of roots and rocks to walk on which is hard on the ankles. I would say the markings for the trail (and lack of) in certain areas do get confusing but there are nice views and there’s a large rock at the top for a nice lunch.

Long hike but absolutely amazing views at Indian Head! We took the west trail there and then the road back. Make sure you have a reservation as we did see people get turned away.

One of the best hike I’ve done so far! The views are amazing, without any big difficulties. Better to be prepared with water/food/snacks and you will be alright. Must visit during Fall colors!

Very beautiful trail for FALL🍁. It also has few subtrails. Views were awesome, definitely worth the hike. We also visiting Rainbow falls in return, it was mind blowing. Rainbow falls is must visit while doing Indian head. Hike is around 14 mile loop, very limited parking so it's mandatory to get reservations done before traveling. Just in case you don't get reservations, buy bus tickets as an entry pass.

11 miles, 5 hours, worth the hike. It is challenging so make sure you are prepared with food, water, etc. The view is super rewarding with a beautiful lookout.
