AIRE Ancient Baths: Urban Oasis in Chicago

What a great experience! If you are looking to treat yourself, or want to celebrate a special occasion with a friend, you should check this spot out! Aire offers different temperature baths and scented steam rooms along with multiple cold plunge baths. It was not easy, but I did the cold plunge several times and it felt great! It’s expensive, but worth it! I wanted to get a massage, but they were booked. Friendly staff. Delicious juice shots! My favorite bath was one with an indoor/ outdoor option featuring an outdoor waterfall that did a great job massaging my shoulders. Built in what used to be a paint factory, this space is truly unique & special. Check it out!

An absolute must try!!! I've had many massage but nothing comes close to my experience at AIRE from the moment I pulled up to the Valet the much needed pampering began. The entrance is in the alley which gave a feeling of mystery. The moment I stepped through the door I felt transported into serenity I was greeted by the friendliest staff who immediately offered tea and water and an explanation of my services. The many different pools, ice baths and salt baths and 90 massage were amazing. And who knew I like Rose 🍾 and truffles. Very intimate setting I almost felt like I had the place to myself. The fresh juice was so refreshing. Everything you need is provided including hair products, blow dryers and flat irons so you can leave feeling and looking fabulous. Great place worth every penny!

My best friend gifted me a night at the AIRE Ancient Baths during our trip to Chicago last month and we had the most incredible time. It was my first introduction to AIRE and her second (she had previously been to the London location), so I was really excited to see what all the hype was about. The facilities were unreal. Once you step inside, it doesn't feel like there's a bustling, metropolis outside. The moody lighting, the tranquil music, and the grandeur of the space itself all set the tone for an amazing night of relaxation. I've since been to the one in NY and I will say that the Chicago one did seem bigger which I liked. There were more steam rooms, and the pools felt bigger. There was also my personal fave: the indoor/outdoor bath. Being in a warm bath while looking up at the night sky was magical. We ended our experience with a lovely 30 minute massage. The therapists - along with all the staff - are professional and immensely talented. My bestie and I had the best sleep that night thanks to AIRE Chicago. Will absolutely be back!

The ambiance of this place is amazing very romantic very industrial chic. However the experience is sub par and is not worth the money. Things felt very rushed you enter and go to different check points where you are asked for your reservation name multiple times. The whole check in process feels like herding sheep. We did a couples massage my massage was good he did a wonderful job working on my problem area. My boyfriend’s massage was not very good. The baths are nice the steam room should generate more steam and the showers in the salt room lacked hot water. The best part of the experience was the service I received by the attendants in the women’s bathroom they were kind and accommodating. I would not do this again it was good for the occasion but not worth going a second time.

If you’re looking for a unique and relaxing experience this is the place. I’ve been here twice and both times were great. The staff is so nice, friendly, and helpful. There is many different thermal and saunas to experience during visit. I’ve gotten the combination package of body scrub and message. The body scrub is nice but the message was superior. It’s a great combo to add to your thermal water experience. Water shoes, robes, lockers, and bathing amenities are provided. The bathroom amenities are beyond there are products for you to use after you shower like a Dyson blower dryer. There’s also valley parking for $20.
