Tranquil Soaking Experience at Crane Hot Springs, Oregon

I surprised my husband with a stay at Crystal Crane Hot Springs last weekend, it was our first time, and it was truly wonderful. We stayed in the Sage Inn, which was rustic but for the price it was perfect. The staff were all friendly and on top of it. They were always around checking on the water and other things but not intrusive. The location is serene and full of birds and other creatures, one of the birds was hanging out in the hot springs off and on while we there. The camp kitchen is accesible 24 hours a day and has dishes, pots, pans, a stove, an oven (old school but works) a microwave and a fridge. The shower house was kept clean, had changing rooms and bathrooms. There is a commons room that’s open 24 hours with seating, books and games. You could stay out there on any budget. We are already planning our next trip. The springs are straight up magic. We both felt incredibly rejuvenated and rested. Thank you to all the staff who make Crystal Crane the wonderful place it is!

My son and I took a chance to come here for a couple days. We camped, we soaked until we were prunes and we relaxed. We are not experienced in any of these things. The views are amazing, the grounds are clean and well taken care of and I've never seen so many staff busting their a$$ everyday, all day. This place is well cared for and I cannot wait to go back. It is well worth the 7 hour drive.

We tented in the overflow which got pretty loud, it all depends on your neighbors. The hot springs experience was pretty good though. Big pool with really nice hot spots, nice changing rooms with showers. Plenty of places to hang your stuff. A good place if you're close, not sure we'll visit again unless we're passing by. There was a nice natural area where you can walk your dog and the views are nice.

Hot spring is pond like very remote and relaxing. The water is very warm for hanging out in. We stayed in the honeymoon sweet. There is a ton of RV parking. Plan ahead and bring good food, drinks, and games.

Unique experience. The private hot tub didn't get warm enough so that was a waste of $$$ but the actual pool was nice. Good coffee house attached and recommended. Facilities were nice. Small cabins by the pool are small. Also stayed in the large house. That's where we were a little disappointed. Clean enough and explored the desert wilderness of the Malheur.
