July 28, 2026 Today I went on the most amazing kayaking adventure through AWOL Adventure Sports located in Twin Falls Idaho. This was their Pillar Falls to Shoshoe Falls kayaking trip on the Snake River. Making a reservation on their website was easy. You can also call them if you prefer. When I arrived to check in the staff was timely, professional and very helpful getting me and the others on the tour ready. In just a few minutes we were outfitted and our guide Brayden informed us of the safety rules and what the kayak tour would entail. We got into our kayaks and proceeded to paddle up the Snake River...the river being at the bottom of the soaring 486' volcanic cliffs on both sides of us. Animals, birds and the quiet of the river was amazing. We reached Shoshone Falls, Brayden took pictures of us in front of the large falls. We then proceed to a protected quote and were able to jump into the river for a float or swim. Then it was time to paddle back to Pillar Falls and our boat rider back to the dock. Absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this experience anytime that you are in the Twin Falls Idaho area.

Our family (4 kids ages 8-16) had a great zipline experience. Since we had never ziplined before, it was less thrilling than anticipated. However, the views were beautiful, and the guides were energetic and entertaining during the slow times between runs. It was a great experience for the whole family, and we'd definitely recommend it.

Jack and Katie were fantastic! We had a great time with them. The 3rd and 4th lines were the favorits. The only thing that would have made it a 5 star was the location of the lines. We were picturing over the river, great sceneries, but we were not. The sage brush was over after the first zipline. Instructors were 5 star, ziplines locationa dn length 2 star.

We took the boat tour and it was fun. At the turn around the guide took us to a cool place to explore and swim. Apparently its often an area under water so its not always accessible. The guides were nice but could be a bit more knowledgeable of the canyon. It was fun and worth doing!

We attended a "Scuba Class" tonight in Rupert. It was absolutely incredible!! We are ready to take the course to be certified. Our instructor, Michael was so patient with us, and he made it fun.
