Description

Your trip begins quickly in the Class IV boulder slalom of Rock Garden Rapid. The next four miles bring an onslaught of technical, intricate Class IV+ rapids with large hydraulics and immense boulders. Soon you'll reach Class IV+ Clavey Falls, a legendary rapid due to its sheer drop and intimidating hydraulics. After Clavey, the water mellows to an enjoyable Class II-III level, giving you an opportunity to look beyond the whitewater in front of you and take in the grace and beauty of the Tuolumne canyon. We'll stop for a delicious, well-earned riverside lunch on a relaxing beach. Back on the water, soon you'll be crashing and careening through more Class IV whitewater. Just when you're getting tired, we'll pull into take-out.

    We had an amazing time on our first whitewater rafting experience and glad we chose All-Outdoors! Guide Joe was great. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and confident. We were joined by two new guides, Kian and Aviv (I hope I got her name right). They were a fun addition to our boat and were great bonus guides! We did the South Fork upper section Chili Bar of the American River. The whole experience was so much fun and planning when we can go again!

    From the moment we arrived, All Outdoors Rafting exceeded every anticipation and expectation. Our guide, Cameron, was super knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly skilled — pointing out every bend and turn and leading our group to a perfect raft day while keeping the energy high with all our group (we even made new friends during the whole trip!) The equipment was top-notch and the safety briefing gave us real confidence. If you’re on the fence, just book it. You won’t regret it!

    What was a disaster turned into a great adventure and one of the best family memories we have! Our family on the way to rafting had a flat tire along the way and they could have left us but 2 of the guide stayed and waited for the rest of our party so we can do it together. Thank you so much! Your patience and consideration turned our day from frustration to happiness and it is one of the greatest family bonding we had!!! We appreciate your kindness!!!     What a wonderful experience. Joe was our guide and was fantastic. We had so much fun we went again 2 days later and had Amelia as our guide, who was also fantastic. They were great with my 11 year old son who is now hooked and wants to go every weekend. We will definitely be back. Great company!

    This was our first rafting experience and we can't express how much we enjoyed it! We had an excellent guide Cameron keeping us safe but allowing tons of fun. We all laughed most of the trip and start cracking up as we see pictures of our splash downs. If you are debating about going I say go! It's so much fun!
