Your trip begins quickly in the Class IV boulder slalom of Rock Garden Rapid. The next four miles bring an onslaught of technical, intricate Class IV+ rapids with large hydraulics and immense boulders. Soon you'll reach Class IV+ Clavey Falls, a legendary rapid due to its sheer drop and intimidating hydraulics. After Clavey, the water mellows to an enjoyable Class II-III level, giving you an opportunity to look beyond the whitewater in front of you and take in the grace and beauty of the Tuolumne canyon. We'll stop for a delicious, well-earned riverside lunch on a relaxing beach. Back on the water, soon you'll be crashing and careening through more Class IV whitewater. Just when you're getting tired, we'll pull into take-out.

I managed to survive haha! I really was scared to death to do tunnel chute and some other rapids. But the guide truly was amazing and he knew so much about the river and rafting. As a first time rafter with no other experience it was the best trip ever! We slept on river and the guides cooked an amazing dinner!! Everything was amazing I’m planning more trips and can’t wait to go again!!
We went on the two-day Tuolomne and had so much fun! The guides are very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food was excellent--the guides do absolutely everything. I hope you go and have as much fun as we did!
What a great day for our family of 6. We had 2 riders who were a bit scared at the start but by the end wished we had consented to more Class 3 rapids. This is a great family run. We laughed all day and being on the river was so awesome. Lunch was perfect under the shade of a tent. Not a bad idea to wear long sleeve water shirts as the sun is strong!!! We reapplied sunscreen many times. But the thing I want to mention most was our guide, Dakota. She was perfect. Trained us well but laughed right along with us. She was really the best guide for our group. Smart and so much fun. All in all, I highly recommend this company and this day trip. Good luck Dakota on all your adventures! The Jersey Crew and screaming Ken!!!
Ive been rafting all over the world and this was by far one of my favorite trips ever! Cherry Creek is legit...this is a must do rafting trip. Ryan (Horse) is an amazing guide and Adam the other guide was extremely helpful and nice. Highly recommend either of these men. They didn't have any photography available during our trip, which was not ideal but the memories I have will last a lifetime!
