Water rafting in Tuolumne River

Our group of 8 ranged in ages from 6 to 66, and 1 adult has early dementia. So we booked the Tom Sawyer trip ranked level 1 and 2. Everyone had a fantastic time. The guides were wonderful, dealing with many inexperienced people in all the groups. The teenagers and young adults are eager for their next rafting trip with All Outdoors Whitewater and to tackle higher ranked rapids!

We had a spectacular time on the river with All Outdoors! We ran the Upper Chili Bar stretch of the South Fork American River, and it was an awesome mix of fun and relaxation. The weather was perfect, our guides were friendly, fun, and super knowledgeable, and the whole experience was incredibly well-organized from start to finish. I especially loved the upper stretch—it was great to jump right into some exciting class 3/3+ rapids, then enjoy a more mellow afternoon with class 1s and 2s after lunch. The balance was perfect. Huge thanks to the team for making everything so smooth. Communication was clear and timely the whole way through, and it really took the stress out of planning. We’ll definitely be back—I’m already thinking about doing the Middle Fork later this summer!

We had the best rafting experience! Markus and Ashton were amazing guides! We felt safe and had so much fun. We will definitely be back next year!

We went rafting on the south fork of the American River with AOR and had the perfect day. Joe was an excellent guide- friendly, great with our 8 year-old son, and could totally read the mood on the level of interaction our boat was craving and when we just wanted to listen to the water. After the trip, my son asked if we could go back again... two days later! We felt like we had the river to ourselves and were not at all jealous of the boats crammed with 8 strangers.

It was a great rafting trip. This was my 4th trip with All Outdoors over the years, and it has always been great. This was for the American river south fork trip. Carlee, our guide, was fun and kind and easy going. We had 3 youngsters in our boat and she was accommodating to let them be kids with their exuberance but at the same time she was safety conscious and in control. Well done Carlee, and thank you.
