The permit system works beautifully. No more congestion on the trail, especially along the via ferrata parts. Everyone was very polite and patient and followed proper trail etiquette. This was a much more enjoyable experience than the one I had five years ago. With that being said, Angel's Landing never disappoints. Even though this was my third time, the views still took my breath away. Every second was heart-pounding and totally exhilarating!

It was an absolutely amazing experience getting to hike Angels Landing. My wife and I were lucky enough to win a permit to go past scouts landing to the top, but even stopping there would be worth the views. It’s quite busy even with the permit system but everyone was friendly and allowed time for each other to pass in the chain section

Not for everyone! Be cautious because nature doesn't forgive. It's very dangerous and can take your life. The view is literally to die for. it's mind blowing and worth every step up. There's 10m of nothing to hold and slippery because of the sand on the rocks. Hold on to the chain because there's nothing else to save you if you slip. You need to be brave and smart. there's a reason 1 person drops down every 2 weeks. don't be that person.

Great hike! We did it in about 2 hours 45 mins. There are a lot of switchbacks to get up to the chain section, so mentally prepare for that! Now that there is a permit required, the chain secrion wasn't too busy and we didn't feel like we were crawling over people. Everyone was respectful and waited for each other to go up or down a section before crossing paths so we were all safe. 10/10 views. Great experience overall!
