Bryce Canyon is one of the most beautiful and photogenic national parks you can visit. I highly recommend hiking the Queens Garden Trail; the views from inside the canyon are absolutely amazing. It is a moderate hike with some steep sections, so be prepared. Just keep in mind that parking spots fill up fast, and parking at the Visitor Center is limited to a maximum of 1 hour as far as I remember. I recommend starting either early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the harsh midday sun, which can really wear you out. Don't forget to carry plenty of water!

Great 2.5h hike from sunrise point through the garden loop and Navajo trail. Beautiful and unique views of the incredible hoodoos. Good selection of shops and places to eat. Additional shops open late May for the main holiday season.

It's funny that Sunrise and Sunset Point are very close to one another, but it's true that one is actually better for sunrise, and one for sunset. We watched the sunrise and sunset from both spots, and the namesakes of each viewpoint are true. The whole paved path between the two points offers great views, so if you don't want to crowd onto the small viewing platform, you can spread out at any spot along the rim between these points. Also from here, the Queens Garden trail goes down to the canyon floor, which can be linked together with any number of trails. In fact, we went down Wall Street (from Sunset Point), around the Peekaboo Loop trail, and then back up Queens Garden to Sunrise Point. A bigger loop, but an amazing tour of the entire area. But if you're only here for view at dawn/dusk, this is the better spot for sunrises.

Absolutely perfect spot to watch the sunrise over the east side of the park! There's plenty of parking but it's a short walk from the parking lot to the observation deck, so plan ahead for that. I'd recommend getting there 30 minutes before sunrise so you can watch the twilight recede as the sun comes up. As a bonus, this would also likely be a great spot for stargazing!

Exceptional park! Queens trail - start at Sunrise point and end at sunset...clockwise on the trail...easier on your knees! amazing views of hoodoos and and rock tunnels. Dress in layers! up to 9,000+ foot elevation.
