Calico Ghost Town is one of the best western playgrounds you can find in the World. You can visit a museum, explore mines, ride a train, and visit a Mystery Shack and pan gold! Also, there are a few adventures available like a 20 Mule Team Off-Road Adventure. Visiting this place takes you to a previously unknown culture and history of America. It's wild and dangerous deserted nature adds charm to this experience.

    Fun experience that's a test for your balance and vertigo tolerance! We bought our tickets from a very nice older lady at the counter. The tour was very affordable at around $4.50/ person. It was a quick tour through the mystery shack with a quick talking young man who was our guide. He was very funny and did a great job. Worth the visit if you're in Calico.

    I took my whole family here for a day of adventure and fun. Plan on bring hiking shoes and arriving early so you have time to visit all they have to offer. I originally went to watch the Civil War reenactment and was very disappointed to find out they are no longer hosting it. I was excited to introduce and share with my kids this pertinent time in our countries history so that they're that much more educated. We ended up watching a short showdown instead. Apparently, some staff members feel this part of history is not important because it did not occur at the actual location. I call that a cheap excuse. I truly hope they bring back the original reenactment so that others are able to learn and appreciate the sacrifices that were made to make the future better than what it was. Whoever it may "offend" need not attend.

    owner is very money hungry, but his nephew dipper and niece mabel are very nice. however i was seeing many photos of some weird triangle thing with one eye!?! it looked kind of like an illuminati. wonder what that was all about

    there was a really weird vending machine..and a mascot..? questiony the question mark.... oh but the twins were nice. DONT TRUST ANYONE

    Tbh, judging from the outside, I don't think there would be any funsies within this outdate and shatter looking shack. Welp, changed my mind! This place is awesome, so many new things like a flying reptile, rabbit with dear antlers, a whatever-it-is bear-unicorn hybrid and a totally out of place Sascrotch??? Idk but the vending machine feels kinda cold especially when you stand near the back of it. The old man who gives us a tour around told not the pay it any attention but it is strangely interesting to me personally. If you guys go there - make sure to check out what's going on with the vending machine please 🙏 9/10 I hate big guy with a ? mark he looks so dum
