Ghost town adventure

Fun experience that's a test for your balance and vertigo tolerance! We bought our tickets from a very nice older lady at the counter. The tour was very affordable at around $4.50/ person. It was a quick tour through the mystery shack with a quick talking young man who was our guide. He was very funny and did a great job. Worth the visit if you're in Calico.

Great experience. Admission fee. Which is paid when you first drive up. Admission does not include train rides or tours. There a restaurant shops, ice shops restrooms. Bring water. You be walking up a hill for most of the time here.

I don’t like some of the things here. The person who runs this place is really greedy and puts up “paranormal” things all around. They actually had some kid dressed to look like he was turning into a werewolf, seeing that filled me with a crap ton of empathy. There was also this slot that said i could put a penny in for a surprise. The said surprise was a recording of the boss thanking me for a penny.

I took my whole family here for a day of adventure and fun. Plan on bring hiking shoes and arriving early so you have time to visit all they have to offer. I originally went to watch the Civil War reenactment and was very disappointed to find out they are no longer hosting it. I was excited to introduce and share with my kids this pertinent time in our countries history so that they're that much more educated. We ended up watching a short showdown instead. Apparently, some staff members feel this part of history is not important because it did not occur at the actual location. I call that a cheap excuse. I truly hope they bring back the original reenactment so that others are able to learn and appreciate the sacrifices that were made to make the future better than what it was. Whoever it may "offend" need not attend.
