With over 78,000,000+ views on my Google reviews as a Level 9 expert Google Reviewer, I always aim to give clear and honest feedback. Goldfield Ghost Town was such a fun experience for our family. My dad is 88 years old and made the trip all the way from Canada and this place absolutely did not disappoint. He grew up loving old westerns with John Wayne and all the classic cowboy shows so this was a home run for us. There is so much to see and do around the town and the atmosphere really brings that old western feeling to life. We loved walking around looking at all the shops attractions and scenery. Free to enter with lots of optional attractions if you want to do more. Great assortment of items to buy as well and the food ice cream and coffee were all very tasty. A 5 stars in our books and a wonderful stop for families and anyone who loves western history and cowboy vibes.

Better than I ever imagined!!! So many fun things to see! Very affordable. If you do the main 3 attractions, it's only 30 dollars for an adult, 25 dollars for seniors, 20 dollars for kids which includes Train Ride with guided history lesson by a very nice gentleman, Gold mine guided tour by a very informative nice lady, and a mystery shack tour that looks/feels like walking through a vortex. The young gentleman had the coolest voice & dialect that sounded like it was from the western days. Free parking. Free to explore the town of various gift shops, haunted room up the spiral Staircase at the Victorian House, places to eat, they have a zip line for 15 dollars each that goes up super high! And they have an opportunity to do an old time photo shoot like from the late 1800s/early 1900s where you can dress up in a theme. I highly recommend Goldfield Ghost Town. About 30 min. drive from Mesa.

Was visiting the area and decided to stop by. It was a fun place to visit but the name can be deceiving. The town and mine are not original. Most of the buildings were built in the 1980s. There was a gold mine in the area but the one you visit is not the authentic one and is man-made. We did to take the mine tour, which was informative about the original mine and the mining process. The area is more like a small amusement park instead of a legitimate ghost town / mine. The place does have some neat shops with some rides and games. The merchantile shop had some good fudge and my kids enjoyed the shooting parlor. Decent place to kill some time if you are in the area.

Long time visitor of Arizona. Is Goldfield worth visiting, yes. Definitely a tourist trap and extremely crowded. The mine tour was great. The zip line (all 15 seconds) was fun. Shops are nice. Can’t beat the scenery. However, the saloon was a 1 star at best. Loved the live entertainment and the atmosphere was awesome but the food was disgusting. It appears as if nothing is made on site (all reheated from Gordon’s or Sam’s Club). It was VERY expensive and tasted awful. You can not get a glass of water, but they are happy to charge you $2.95 for a room temperature bottle. 9 guests and not one of us were happy with our meals. Absolutely save your money and eat on the outskirts before or after your trip. Also, if you plan to take the short drive to the Superstition Mountains prepare to pay $20 a car load (plus extra if you have over 4 people in your vehicle) the very short loop (it’s beautiful, but over priced). It’s worth a one time trip but not something I’d do again.

Cute little ghost town. We took the train ride, went on the mine tour, and went to the house of illusions. There is a steak house (prices from $35 - 50). There is also a hamburger/hot dog/chicken/fry place. Prices about $15. We did not eat at either of these locations. They also have ice cream place. A little pricey. If you have the time, drive up to Tortilla Flats. They have really good gelato! Fun place. We spent about 3 1/2 hours there.
