We had such an amazing trip! The glamping grounds are beautiful and our “tent” was so beautifully set up. Backland has so many amenities for guests and especially families. It’s quiet and secluded which we really enjoyed. You can tell ownership really put a lot of thought into this space because everything made sense from the big details to the smallest details. We enjoyed dinner there and our food was amazing as well as the staff! Tip: Make sure to wake up early to watch the sunrise from your room, it’s breathtaking! We’ll definitely be back!

Took my family of 3 for 3 nights! It was great. My 6 year old son absolutely loved the place. He loved eating smores from their kits and the activities they had there. All the employees are so nice and helpful! Chase is absolutely great as all the reviews state. Took my Corolla and was able to navigate through their dirt path to Backland. Favorite part was the sky view. Absolutely loved seeing the night sky filled with stars as we laid in bed.

We took a fall break getaway to Backland and it was a great choice. The atmosphere was beautiful, star gazing was incredible. Many activities are available on site. We were fortunate to see elk roam through and a bald eagle. The town of Williams is a short drive away to explore. The only negatives were that the pillows were flimsy but the bed was great. We made a reservation for dinner and waited 90 minutes for our food. Thankfully the food was worth the wait but it would have been nice to know the delay in receiving our food especially with kids in tow! We were accidentally charged someone else’s lobby purchase and a food credit was not applied despite us reminding them but the staff was apologetic and corrected the mistake quickly. Chase was fantastic. He has a great personality and makes it a point to connect with guests. We really appreciated him giving us tips on the area and showing us the stars and Saturn on their telescope. He really enhanced our experience. Overall, we would recommend Backland.

I recently stayed at Backland Glamping, and it was exactly what I needed! With my extremely busy job, it was so grounding and relaxing to be surrounded by nature. Backland Glamping truly offers the best of both worlds – all the pros of camping without any of the cons! From the telescope for stargazing to the kayaks for some peaceful time on the water, every detail was thoughtfully planned. I loved sleeping under the stars and being able to gaze up through the skylights tent. (Which I might add was fully air-conditioned and came with a connected full bathroom with a walk-in shower!) They even provide a delicious continental breakfast. This resort has thought of everything you could ever want for the perfect outdoor escape!!

My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights here and had a great experience! The tent and common areas (reception, dining hall, lounge) were all spacious and comfortable, well-built with a modern design and functional amenities (including air conditioning/heating). The property was easy to find and navigate, situated in a beautiful and serene forest environment. They include a continental breakfast, offer lunch options, and a dinner service, which make meals convenient. Furthermore, all the staff, especially Chase, were very hospitable. We'd love to make it back for another trip, and highly recommend this as a vacation destination for comfortable clean camping.
