Description

Grab your friends, grab your hiking shoes, and take a beautiful ride through the desert with Red Jeep Tours! With awesome Jeep tourS such as the San Andreas Fault Tour or the Painted Canyon Tour, your desert canyon off-roading dreams will be met and the beauty of the Indian desert canyons will come alive. Tours can also be public, where you meet new people, or private with your personal group. I love the fact you get to walk, hike, and off-road in order to fully experience every part of this tour. The San Andreas Fault tour, which was once home to Cahuilla Indians, boasts beautiful slot canyons and unique and beautiful geologic features. An open-air Jeep tour from an Earth shifting perspective.  You can also tour a recreated Indian Village and learn about the village from the awesome guides, marvel at the natural palm oasis where crystal-clear water bubbles up year-round, or journey into the spectacular Painted Canyon Village with beautiful lunar like landscape and rainbow-colored minerals towering above you. The red Jeep is just the icing on the cake!

We had such a great tour with Gary yesterday. So many amazing things to see that makes you see how very special the Coachella Valley is. It’s not just a place for sun, golf and dining - there is so much history here and Gary’s shared all his knowledge with us - the Coahuila Indians and how they lived - the geology of the San Andreas Fault area and how it has its own ecosystem - fascinating tour and you will go away with a lot of knowledge. Fabulous tour - highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience on our Jeep tour, and a huge part of that was our driver, Steve! He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and made the entire adventure so enjoyable from start to finish. Steve shared interesting facts along the way, made everyone feel comfortable, and handled the Jeep like a pro. The views were incredible, but his energy and personality really made the tour unforgettable. If you get the chance to tour with Steve, you’re in for a great time. Highly recommend! Best birthday adventure!

Desert local here and I've always wanted to do the Red Jeep Tour! We did the San Andreas Fault tour, and had a freaking blast!! I think our guides name was Leroy and he was so funny and exited about the desert life. I learned quite a few things about the plants that live here. It was about 50% hiking/climbing a mountain and 50% jeep ride! They have plenty of water and granola bars available. 3 bathroom stops in nice porta potties that are well maintained. The process of booking was so easy! We're definitely going to book another tour

Steve was an incredible your guide. His passion for geology stands out, like learning that Palm springs is a Graben not a valley, made this tour edumataining! Steve intertwined knowledge of the flora, fauna, the impact and history of the Caquila people, with a bonus of awesome 4 wheeling! We highly recommend the sunset tour, especially with the views Steve took us to experience it. Remember to wear comfortable clothing for the short hikes and be prepared for incredible views.

Leroy is the man. We had a great time, and Leroy was a fantastic guide. Would definitely recommend. Really interesting info about the land, its geology, native people. Loved it. Especially my youngest son (12) who is still talking about it.
