Unveil the Beauty of Cabrillo National Monument and Bayside Trail

Definitely a great place of history to learn about and to see panoramic views of San Diego and Pacific Ocean. There are two sides where you can explore the bay side and walking down and back up a paved road and easy trail. See the sights of Mexico and mountains in the distance, sailboats sailing in the bay, downtown San Diego city and beyond. Explore the lighthouse and views of the ocean at the top of the hill and on the other side you can drive down to the cliffs and at low tide explore the tide pools. The park closes at 5 PM and it’s $10 if you go on foot and $20 for cars to get in…so make sure you have a bit of time to explore or a national park pass. It is a place I love to visit and a must do if time permits if you are visiting.

Absolutely beautiful! It was very windy and cold. Warmed up in the afternoon after the rain stopped. Kids ( of all ages!) will enjoy the tidepools.

Moreover, it offers conveniently located restrooms and generous parking spaces.

Stunningly beautiful. This is one of those national parks that is great for people of any mobility level: if you don't feel like walking, the views from the monument are beautiful and steps from the car, if you're feeling more adventurous, there's so many lovely trails. You can even drive directly to the tidepools along the coast.

It is a beautiful place to see San Diego from the top. Beautiful view of the San Diego Bay. Will come back at night to see the San Diego at night time. Private car:$20 for 7 day (keep receipt)
