It was great. Guides good, horses exceptional. I only wish they would have told us to bring a tip in the saddle bag for the guides. Fortunately we caught a wrangler departing at the gate and were able to give her the tip for the guides highly recommend this for novice or experienced riders.

Wow, what a gorgeous trail! I had a blast and my guide, Bianca, was lovely :-) For more experienced equestrians seeking an advanced ride, I would note that due to the rocky terrain, it’s more of a slow-paced trail, but does require active participation. However, if a leisurely ride with beautiful scenery is more your speed, this is the place for you! The facilities are well kept and the horses seem very relaxed. Stacey and her employees are extremely friendly and want to ensure that everyone has a safe, wonderful time. Highly recommend!

We’ve done several trail rides, and this one was outstanding. Ava and Bianca were excellent guides, sharing insights about the terrain, local plants, and area history. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to enjoy the scenery in a fun and unique way.

Looking for a great riding stable? Look no further. This is where you want to book your adventure. This was an amazing and enjoyable ride through the beautiful and breathtaking canyon. Jackson was the perfect guide imparting much knowledge about the landscape, flora, and fauna. A huge thank to the stable owners for their friendliness, professionalism, and great communication in making this a truly memorable event.

We loved Smoke Tree Stables! It was a great addition to our Palm Springs trip. A wonderful family owned and operated ranch. Everyone was so friendly and down to earth. The ride was beautiful and the horses were very gentle and careful navigating through the canyon trails. I would highly recommend Smoke Tree Stables’ ride through Murray Canyon to anyone visiting Palm Springs and looking a little adventure 🙂
