This place is so unique. The cabin we stayed in was gorgeous. I could live in it. The pictures online do not compare to how lovely it was in person. Totally worth the cost. And do NOT miss out on the restaurant and bakery. We left with so many bakery items it was almost embarrassing. Everything was totally delicious. We had our two teenagers with us and they said “that place had a good vibe.” The highest compliment from high schoolers ever.

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Village! We found our room to be very clean and neat, comfortable beds and pillows, with plenty of towels and amenities in the washroom. Very lovely and helpful service staff! We enjoyed the “cannibal cauldron” wood fire heated hot tub, with sauna, cold plunge pool, and amenities such as rinsing shower, clean towels, tea assortment, and cold water to drink. We had very helpful instruction on the hot tub regarding cooling the water if it got too hot, and the best time during our session to cool off in the cold plunge pool. The restaurant was incredibly busy, and even though we didn’t have a reservation they squeezed us in. Ps-make a reservation, they are extremely busy during the tourist season! The food was amazing, we enjoyed piroshky, pierogies, the meatball soup and the gnocchi. Our breakfast of 4 eggs with bacon and potatoes was wonderful as well. Delicious!! Ignore the people complaining about food prices. The portions were very generous. 10/10 would return, 10/10 would recommend for your stay in Ashford.

This is such a lovely gem of a place nestled right hear the Nisqually entrance for Rainier. I was immediately sold by the offerings of Ukrainian food and the Cannibal Hot Tub and everything fully met our expectations. It is clear that this family works very hard from sun up to sun down to keep this place working like a well oiled machine. They are absolutely lovely. Please consider staying here and supporting them verses a Hilton.

We recently had our wedding at Paradise Village, and while our wedding day turned out beautifully, our overall experience with the venue was disappointing due to several avoidable issues during the planning process. Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, we frequently received conflicting information from different staff members. It often felt like we had to repeatedly clarify details because communication between staff was inconsistent. Wedding planning is stressful enough, and this unnecessary back-and-forth made it much more difficult than it needed to be. During our venue tour, the staff member assigned to us was unable to communicate effectively in English, so my florist ended up translating throughout the tour. She was there to evaluate the venue for our floral design, not to act as an interpreter. I had also taken time off work specifically to discuss important details like chairs, tablecloths, utensils, and setup. Unfortunately, no notes seemed to be taken, and later we encountered several contradictions regarding what had been discussed. The night before our wedding, two staff members helping move the stage appeared visibly intoxicated. This made us and some of our guests uncomfortable, including our pastor’s wife. It was surprising and concerning to see staff working in that condition during such an important event. The ceremony site also had several holes in the ground. As my husband and I walked back down the aisle after the ceremony, I stepped into one of them and nearly fell. Thankfully I wasn’t injured, but it’s a safety issue that should be addressed before future weddings. We also reserved the A-frame cabin because we planned to use it for our wedding photos and videos. Unfortunately, the area was filled with heavy smoke from the sauna for hours, making it difficult to capture the photos and videos we had envisioned. We were never informed this would be an issue. In addition, we were told there would be a complimentary space for the groom and his groomsmen to get ready, but that accommodation was never provided. I do want to recognize Julie, who was responsive whenever we contacted her directly and did her best to help resolve issues. We appreciated her efforts. Despite these concerns, our family, friends, and amazing vendors made our wedding day unforgettable. However, I hope the venue takes this feedback seriously. Better communication, improved staff professionalism, and more attention to guest safety would make a significant difference for future couples choosing to celebrate one of the most important days of their lives here.
