Description

Discover a perfect getaway from busy city life in the forest. Elk Forest Retreat offers two cabins. However, we suggest Forest Camping Hut. You get a comfortable plush queen-size bed, a nice deck area for you to hand out, an outdoor bath with rain shower, a little gas stove to heat water for a pour-over coffee maker and teapot for fresh hot tea and coffee experience in the forest. Your Forest Camping Hut is a fenced private area for your own use. There is no cell service or wifi. Here you will completely disconnect from your everyday busy lifestyle and will reconnect with nature and yourself.

Rules & Safety

There is NO kitchen for cooking. We supply plates and utensils so you can bring your take-out or snacks and enjoy your meal either indoors or outdoors in solitude. There is a sink so your plates and utensils may be cleaned.
The Redwood Forest Camping Hut is accessed via a forest path from the parking area.
The space has multiple steps and stairs which may be a problem for some individuals.
Modern compost toilet. Not a flushing toilet.
NO hairdryer or hair iron, please.
The hut can only support minimal electrical usage.
Only charge small devices, anything more will cause the power to turn off.
There is no wifi or cell service. In case of an emergency, we have a phone for you to use.
