Post Hotel Luxury Stay: Leavenworth's Four-Season Haven

Birthday getaway at gorgeous hotel and spa. Believe it or not we booked a year ahead for my girlfriend’s birthday. Posthotel did not disappoint. You can literally check in and never leave. Spend time in your robe the whole time. Even at breakfast, Iunch, and dinner. Don’t worry. If your reservation doesn’t fit you can reschedule. Our favorite was the sauna. There are 7 rooms that are slightly different with cold plunges too. Two hot tubs and a beautiful salt water pool with cool glass door you can swim thru. Only 2.5 hours from Seattle. We loved it so much we are already prebooked for next year. Staff was so kind. Especially Isaac, Jill, and Roberto.

Posthotel is worth the money, and the months long wait when booking rooms. From the time you arrive there is no reason to leave for anything until you check out. Of course, if you want to there are rental bikes, walking trails, and tons of cute shops and restaurants in walking distance, but praying yourself away from the spa may be hard. The spa and pool are fantastic! The pool area with it's wellness circuits reminds me of Europe and the view of the river, mountains, and trees from the pool is lovely. The rooms are well appointed and the food is included (except dinner) and is honestly fantastic. It all combines to make an unforgettable experience.

I am excited to return to The Post after our visit in 2025. The Riverstone Massage was excellent, highly recommend. The room was well kept; the couch a tad worn or soft for my liking, but overall fine. The bed was very relaxing. Leavenworth is a wonderful destination, although we are locals and not fond of the crowds, it was tollerable. Many great eats nearby and sites to enjoy. Yes, the pool area is crowded, but they too are at the hotel to enjoy the atmosphere and everyone was respectful during our stay.

I am truly sad to have to write a negative review about Post Hotel Leavenworth. My husband and I have been coming here for the past six years, and every single stay prior to this one has been wonderful. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, the spa facilities are immaculate and incredibly relaxing, and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. As parents of a special needs child, this annual two-night trip is the only time we get away — just the two of us — to rest and recharge. It has always been something we look forward to and deeply appreciate. Unfortunately, during our most recent stay, we had a family emergency involving our child and had to rush home, canceling our second night. While I completely understand that hotels have policies, we lost the full cost of the unused night, and there was no flexibility or compassion shown given the circumstances. I reached out afterward, not even asking for a full refund, but hoping for some understanding — perhaps a partial credit, a future stay credit, or even a gift shop credit. Anything would have gone a long way in showing empathy. Sadly, nothing was offered. What hurts most is not the financial loss, but the lack of sympathy during a very stressful and emotional situation. After six years of loyal visits, I had hoped for a bit more understanding. The experience has left a very bitter taste, and I’m honestly unsure whether we will return. I truly wish this review didn’t have to be written.

This is one of the most beautiful stays in Washington! The property is absolutely stunning and impeccably clean. The food is exceptional, and having breakfast and lunch included is such a wonderful bonus. The pool area is spacious, with plenty of loungers, and never feels overcrowded. The saunas could be a bit hotter, but other than that, I have no complaints at all. The staff is lovely, attentive, and truly adds to the experience. I’ll definitely be staying here again!
