Wow. This wellness resort was better than anything I could have expected and honestly well worth the price. My husband and I spent a week here on our honeymoon, and it exceeded all of our expectations. Not only is the place STUNNING, but the food, the spas, and the service, were impeccable. To start, I was battling a very very bad sinus infection for the entirety of the trip, but the staff was so understanding and wonderful. I had a couples massage booked, and about halfway through, I had a horrid coughing spell. The masseuse stopped to get me a cup of water and let me cool down before continuing. A year later and I'm still thinking about the food. The breakfast and lunch buffets made me feel like I was eating in a European mountain resort. Everything was so intentional and curated; there wasn't anything I didn't like on the menu. Plus, complimentary breakfast, lunch, and evening dessert were what mostly attracted me to this resort. My husband was obsessed with this minty berry drink, and he ordered it every single day. The waiters were so attentive and made us feel so welcome. We never left the hotel for dinner, so we ordered our dinners from the dining room, and wow... I'm still dreaming about that steak and bolognese. Absolute perfection. Now the spas... incredible. It never felt crowded in the pool and sauna areas like I was expecting. Being able to order drinks right from the pool side was a lovely bonus. The saunas were practically life changing as the eucalyptus room helped me breathe with my god-awful sinus infection. The overall atmosphere of the room, lobby area, and even the elevator were beautiful and smelled incredible!! And while we hardly ventured into town, I loved how walkable Leavenworth was. And if we didn't want to walk somewhere, we opted for the free bike rental. The entire stay was so relaxing. We flew into Seattle and took the Amtrak train to Leavenworth, where we were then met by a shuttle van to take us straight to the hotel. I loved living in a robe and slippers the whole stay, and every time I think about the Post Hotel and get emotional that I'm not there sipping on a latte with views of the mountains, I just put on my Post Hotel robe and rub on the lotion that I got in my welcome box. My husband and I do plan to return for our 10 year anniversary!

This is one of the most beautiful stays in Washington! The property is absolutely stunning and impeccably clean. The food is exceptional, and having breakfast and lunch included is such a wonderful bonus. The pool area is spacious, with plenty of loungers, and never feels overcrowded. The saunas could be a bit hotter, but other than that, I have no complaints at all. The staff is lovely, attentive, and truly adds to the experience. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Incredible. Dreamy. Amazing location. Romantic and relaxing. Top-notch service. Heavenly amenities. Tasty, chef-cooked food. Comfortable and stylish rooms. Pricey, but worth every penny. We loved everything about our stay and we will be returning every year! Truly a very unique and special experience that was memorable in all of the best ways! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! 5 STARS. Edited to add: The only thing I would change is a bigger gym with more features. This hotel takes personal care to the max so many of us want to take care of our health while we stay. The gym is very tiny and does not accommodate more than a couple of people at one time. It was truly the ONLY letdown.

I am truly sad to have to write a negative review about Post Hotel Leavenworth. My husband and I have been coming here for the past six years, and every single stay prior to this one has been wonderful. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, the spa facilities are immaculate and incredibly relaxing, and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. As parents of a special needs child, this annual two-night trip is the only time we get away — just the two of us — to rest and recharge. It has always been something we look forward to and deeply appreciate. Unfortunately, during our most recent stay, we had a family emergency involving our child and had to rush home, canceling our second night. While I completely understand that hotels have policies, we lost the full cost of the unused night, and there was no flexibility or compassion shown given the circumstances. I reached out afterward, not even asking for a full refund, but hoping for some understanding — perhaps a partial credit, a future stay credit, or even a gift shop credit. Anything would have gone a long way in showing empathy. Sadly, nothing was offered. What hurts most is not the financial loss, but the lack of sympathy during a very stressful and emotional situation. After six years of loyal visits, I had hoped for a bit more understanding. The experience has left a very bitter taste, and I’m honestly unsure whether we will return. I truly wish this review didn’t have to be written.

Excellent stay in a very clean room, quiet spa, delicious breakfast and lunch. The hallways smelled amazing with freshly lit candles. The bed was extremely comfortable! And I heard no other guests from other rooms above/below/beside us. I am a light sleeper, too. I would recommend 150%!
