Stay and Play at Clydesdale Outpost

A must stay experience! The perfect location just outside of beautful downtown Whitefish gives you easy access to town but you'll truly want to spend a majority of your time hanging out on the property. The cabins are absolutely stunning and thoughtfully designed, with both indoor and outdoor space. We loved grilling and making s'mores and hanging out in the hot tub on our private patio. The horses and experiences are just beautiful and amazing. We did evening with the Clydesdales (complimentary for guests and a must even if you are not staying on site), and the horseback ride (one of only 6 places in the world that you can ride Clydesdales!). The staff were super friendly and knowledgable about the Clydesdales and it was evident they truly loved the horses. Kacey, Carson, Prescilla, Saylor and Brandon were all amazing. We can't wait to visit again and bring family and friends!

Such a special place! The whole experience of the Clydesdale outpost was amazing. From admin to on site staff, and wranglers , they couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant if they tried! The cabins were beautiful 😍 with everything and more to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Hot tub and hammock were a great touch 👌 Thank you EVERYONE at the Clydesdale outpost. 🥰

Our cabin was serene and peaceful. It was elegant in a western way. You could tell that all of the furnishings had been thought through with a purpose. From the deck with firepit and hottub to the large walk in shower and comfortable beds we enjoyed it all. Seeing the Clydesdales go out to pasture at dusk and return to the barn at dawn was fun. My highlight was loving on the horses and their foals and then my ride on Destiny. Plan a vacation here! You won't regret it.

For our honeymoon, we signed up for a ride with the Clydesdales and a tour of the barn. Both experiences were incredbily unique! The Clydesdales were amazing to see up-close and riding on such a huge horse was very cool. We did a ~45 min ride on the property and our guide took pictures for us and shared them afterwards. During the barn tour, our guide explained how they raise the Clydesdales and introduced us to horses of varying ages so we can see the differences in size. We were able to explore most of the barn and pet the Clydesdales inside. If you love horses, this is an experience you cannot miss!

My daughter and I recently took part in the new Clydesdale encounter and had a wonderful time. There was so much interaction with the beautiful horses, and the guides/staff were wonderful! The location was beautiful, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Montana. Highly recommend!
