Iron Mountain Hot Springs Soak: Serenity by the Colorado River

Iron Mountain is absolutely amazing. It resembles a spa more than a traditional hot spring, boasting a tranquil, clean, and charming atmosphere. Offering multiple pools with temperatures ranging from 96-108°F, it's a perfect retreat. Despite only having a couple of hours to enjoy, we're definitely planning to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Glenwood Springs area. The option to sip on a cold beer while soaking adds to the experience. The general 3-hour ticket grants access to 16 pools, along with 2 complimentary towels and a locker. We appreciated the attentive staff who constantly monitored pool temperatures. Can't wait to come back!

Simply spectacular! I wish I would have gone here my first day in Glenwood Springs instead of my last day! I would have definitely gone back. If over 21 and traveling with no kids, do yourself a favor and add the world pass to your reservation. This pass gets you access to the adults only section and the all around the world inspired hot tubs. I loved the blue lagoon and the Japanese tubs the best. Don’t miss out on the family friendly side though. They have some tubs that are hotter than the world pass side. The mother lode is 109 degrees! There are alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available. There are also some decent snacks at the two different bars on site. There is no smoking of any kind inside the pool areas but they have a small smoking section at the front that I noticed when walking in. I noticed a couple being warned.

Beautiful views, very clean facilities. Very relaxing. They have several small pools with different water temperatures in a quiet zone. There's a larger pool that has a slightly cooler temperature, which is great for longer soaks and for families with older kids. Even though it is more of a spa experience than a playground, kids can still have fun in the water. You can get a day pass or reserve a timed entry, which seems to really help keep the place free of large crowds. We loved this place and can't wait to go back!

Went here to soak for 2 hours in the new pools inspired by Hot Springs all over the world which was 21+! It was very relaxing & love the info they shared from each country! There were drink and food options. I only indulged in the soft pretzel which was great. Gorgeous drive here. Will come again.

After exploring Leadville back in March, my friends and I decided to relax at this spot, and it was the perfect choice! This hot springs spot is a true gem. They had lots of pools to choose from, and the views were simply stunning!Friendly staff and amazing vibes. Already planning my next visit!
