Iron Mountain Hot Springs Soak: Serenity by the Colorado River

Visited on a Thursday around sunset. Had a lovely time. It wasn't too crowded, but almost impossible to find an empty pool. Still such an enjoyable experience. Everyone kept to themselves. My favorite pool was the Dead Sea pool. It was fun hoping around and trying each pool. Loved that the establishment was right on the river, that definitely added to the ambiance. The bathrooms & showers were very clean, the staff was so nice, and the merchandise was so cute! Highly recommend!

These hot springs have really dedicated themselves to providing a quality experience for guests! All the staff I interacted with were very friendly- thank you Tanya & Marty specifically (I don’t know the others’ names)! The adults-only side is a nice addition, especially with the swimming pools and cold plunge. Loved being able to order and enjoy food without leaving the location. The grounds are very well maintained, the locker rooms are clean (especially given how many people come through in a day) and the springs were unique and relaxing. Highly recommend a visit and I’ll be back!

My family and I had such a wonderful time here. The locker rooms were clean and well kept, we had locked lockers to keep our things in which was nice. They had a place to refill your water bottles at but also little stations with paper cups to get water at if you forgot to bring one. There are plenty of chairs to lay down on and so many different options to sit in different temperature hotsprings. Of course not to mention how beautiful the views are. The staff are nice and kept the place nice and clean.

This is one of several hot springs locations in Glenwood springs, and it is well run with numerous pools (of varying temperature, and even an adults only section and a family friendly pool. The cost of admission includes towels and a locker, including showers. They even have plastic bags for wet bathing suits. It's easy to get to, just off interstate 70, I strongly recommend bringing a dry change of clothes and a hair brush, so you can shower and get spiffed up! They have complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers. Very nicely done! The pools are well designed and marked, with music in the background. There is also a great view of the river. We found the three hour pass was good, and the food options were pricey but good. Some drinks even have souvenir cups! Consider bringing body lotion, and sunscreen too, although they sell lots of items at the entrance/gift shop. Parking is free, although you may have to walk a bit. We enjoyed our visit and the hot springs were a must do!

Wish I could go back to this place! Both myself and my 8 year old daughter loved these springs. I do appreciate that they have a separate section for adults of they want to separate. Clean showers, towels included in visit. Quaint, relaxing and beautiful views! This location came highly recommended on social media and let me tell you it did not disappoint at all! We visited the Springs right after we went to Glenwood adventure Park and it was a great way to kind of end the day and relax our sore muscles from climbing up and down the mountainside all day. I like that the family pool as far away from all the other heated pools. My daughter was very well-behaved and enjoyed the peace and quiet with me.
