I was very impressed with this operation. They did a great job preparing folks for the trip, and then followed up with assistance along the way. The only hassle is needing to wait in line for an hour or more at the booth before it opens at 8 am in order ti buy tickets for the same day. (No ordering tickets in advance). Something like $37 a person, minimum two people per raft. It’s a spectacular ride. No white water, but there are strong currents. Highly recommended!

Fun for kids, but not for parents. Kiosk opens at 8am, but families are queued up before 7am to get rafts or bikes. Only one person at cash register, so the line looks like it could take about an hour to pay. If you get a bike, only one person there too, so you wait another 30 minutes or so to get a bike. If you raft, you need to go 30 minutes early for safety briefing that lasts maybe 5 minutes. They tell you to stop and enjoy the beaches, but get to the raft shuttle back in two hours. We got in the water around 12:05pm and finished around 1:49pm. Then, no shuttle came to take us back until around 3:17pm. That was almost 90 minutes waiting around with kids and no water. Better bring sneakers with you and be prepared to walk back 2.5 to 3 miles to Curry Village. Don’t believe Aramark if they say you can also take the free shuttle. The families left stranded by the raft shuttle waited 90 minutes for those too. Most of those were so full, they only took two of the 30 people waiting at the four mile stop, or drove past without stopping. The shuttle driver didn’t have a phone or radio. Customer service from the contact us page was no help. They called back after 30 minutes, then put me on hold for another 15 minutes. The manager Skye wouldn’t talk to the families who were left stranded. She sent four other people (two at the shuttle area and two in Curry Village) to talk to us, but not help us. They wrote down her email address and told us to email her.

Very fun and beautiful activity to do in Yosemity. But beware of the following information: - there are planned departure hours ,(12 am and 2 pm were our options) - you have to be there 30 minutes beforehand to wait and hear simple instructions. - They tell you you get 2 hours, but when we and others were enjoying the views with 45 minutes left at the last stop, they told us to go forward to the endpoint. (They we're very pushy about it, and when asked why they gave no clear answer.) - there is a shuttle that brings you back, but we didn't take it becauwe our car was at the end point (swinging bridge). But they told us it could take up to 1h30 (max) - Theres 2 paddles per boat (max 4 persons, with only 3 seats). Once on the stream u are free to do whatever, you just got to keep in front of the guides that make sure everyone gets to the end. -its not really rafting as the river doesnt have a wild stream. More like a calm coast down the river, with some branches that you need to dodge. We only received most of the information after paying, even when asked beforehand the info was short sided! Service deserves about a 2 star. But the views and boatride was fun and beautiful.

Arrived this morning at 7am only to find out they only had 15 rafts available. The first 15 rafts were rented to the family's that were waiting in line at 530am. Your best bet is to bring your own floatation devise.

Loved floating the river! Super relaxing and amazing views. Here is the tough part about getting a raft rental. They open at 8am, there is one person taking all the reservations for rafts and bikes, and if you are not in line by 7:30 or a little before, you will be in line for over an hour to get your rental/reservation. We did our rental on a Wednesday, got in line about 7:45, and did not get to the front of the line until almost 9:30. Bring a chair, bring your coffee/water/tea, and get comfy for the wait. On the weekend I would aim for a bit earlier. There were at least 50 people in line behind us when we got to the front. For the rafts there is a 10am, 12pm, and 2pm slot that fills quickly. Not sure how many are for each group but I would say our group probably had about 30-40 total people. We did 10am and were done by about 12pm and were one of the first ones to finish.
