Tahoe Tastings has provided us with the perfect wine tasting adventure with an added twist; we are on Lake Tahoe on a beautiful boat tour!! A water wine tasting event that could never be forgotten. Sail along gorgeous Lake Tahoe while sampling 8 amazing wines from various wine regions in Northern California. Indulge in a timeless charcuterie board as you choose your favorite wine selections. As you make your way from sparkling wine to the whites and reds, gaze out onto the lake as the captain takes you from the marina and you circle through Emerald Bay. There are three different times to experience such beauty and wine with cruises in the midday, afternoon, and at sunset. Grab a bottle of your favorites for a memorable keepsake!

Itinerary

  1. Arrive at the Rubicon Dock 15 minutes before wine tasting tour

Q & A

Cruises begin on the Golden Rose in the Tahoe Keys Marina. The course follows the south-west shore of Lake Tahoe into Emerald Bay, all the way back to Vikingsholm. We do not disembark in Emerald Bay but we will stop for picture opportunities if boat traffic allows.

No pets please, service animals only.

Yes and No. Standard scheduled daily tours on the Golden Rose are limited to adults 21 and older.If you want to rent the vessel for a private tour, there is no age requirement.

You may bring light snacks such as crackers, cheese and fruit. Imported & Domestic Cheese Platters are available for pre-order, brought to you by On Board. Served with dried and fresh fruit, olives, salami & crackers. This is a pre-order item and can only be guaranteed with a 48-hour notice.

Our tours are generally 2 hours long, but please allow for 2.5 hours in case of any water delays. The 4th of July Tour will last longer than a typical tour as will some holiday weekends.

No. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vape pens, are NOT permitted on the dock or the boat.

Rules & Safety

Cancellations:

You must request to cancel your standard daily tour booking at least 48 hours in advance of your departure date and time. No refunds will be given if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking or if any member of your party is a no-show. Guests should arrive 15 minutes prior to departure, we cannot wait for late guests. Please allow 7 days for all refund processing. If we have to cancel due to water safety issues you will receive a refund in full if we are unable to reschedule you.

Cruise Times:

Midday Cruise: 11am-1pm
Afternoon Cruise: 1:30pm-3:30pm

Sunset Cruise: 6:30pm-8:30pm May-July, 6pm in August, 5:30pm in September, 4:30pm in October
