Trot to Yosemite Trails Horseback Adventures

I had read some mixed reviews about Wawona Stables but trust me when I say this experience was nothing short of perfect! The staff couldn’t be any friendlier and our guide (thanks Tex!) was full of knowledge to share regarding the history of our trail ride. The views were stunning, mules were well behaved (which was so helpful for a family of first time riders) and we got to capture so many pictures for memories to last a lifetime. This was our last day in Yosemite and we ended it with such an amazing experience :) I highly recommend Wawona Stables - you can tell they really care about the well being of their animals as well as making sure riders have nothing less than a great time! We will be back again!

I was so impressed with the professionalism and kindness shown by the employees and guides here. Our family, with kids ranging from 8 to 13, enjoyed every minute of the lovely two hour mule ride. When our eight year old had an issue with his reins, Ethan took the time to calmly help him, which was so appreciated. We ended the ride with smiles all around. Highly recommend!

They charged our friend's payment for 8 people first before they confirmed whether the horse-riding for 8 people were reserved. So when we arrived there based on the reservation notice/full payment, their staff told us because their internet wasn't stable so they had not received any reservations from our friend.. and yet they have fully charged us for 8 people. Now, we're all back to our countries which has been over 3 weeks, they have not processed any refund to us and told my friend that they have no time at the moment on dealing with this refund.. Insanely and unreasonably managing business like this... It's fine that they have to charge people whether it's partial or full, but they have to refund the customers immediately or ASAP if possible if they don't get the service.. instead of retroactively managing this. One highlight: their payment system is definitely faster and stable than reservation system

I had seen some not-so-good reviews about this place when looking for a place to ride horses. I'm glad I ignored them and took a chance on this place - it was great! The horses are gorgeous and our guide was very knowledgeable about the plant and animal life we saw on the trail. This place was also less expensive than some of the other options we saw. Be sure to book in advance!

My granddaughter and I had a great time on our early morning ride. Perfect weather for the last, end of summer adventure. James was a fun and informative guide. I had previously rwas the review and have to saw i don't understand some of the negative reviews. Highly recommend for adults and kids. Book early morning for the best ride.
