Purchased tickets for the VIP experience. Pros the VIP terrace had great seating and ample fire pits for everyone. The lights and sunset were beautiful. We enjoyed the walk thru the field and on to the light towers. Con is that the drink ticket was for a house wine that I didn't really enjoy. Unfortunately they don't allow you to upgrade to a premium wine for an extra fee. I did get a more enjoyable wine later but in hindsight I would have used my drink ticket for a soda and just pause for the wine I liked. Also, I think they should have some snacks available at the terrace for purchase instead of needing to go back down to the general admission area. All in all we had an enjoyable experience and I would recommend going to the field of lights
Amazing & beautiful!! Such a lovely immersive art installation with live music and food. We had a very fun evening - completely worth the ticket price for the experience.
The light is definitely beautiful but the sign was not clear at all. We purchased vip tickets online and there was no sign about where to wait in line. We asked a staff and she pointed to a shorter line for vip security check. If we did not ask we would be waiting in the general admission, which is ten times longer. They do not check the vip ticket until the second gate, the box office. Other than that, the vip ticket includes a drink and the balcony and the view is great. If you just want to walk around it takes around an hour to finish. There weren’t a lot of food option by 7pm.
We went on a Saturday evening and got there around 5:30pm. There was plenty of parking at that time. You do have to go through security. It’s cheaper to book online in advance but you can purchase tickets there. It was $40/person at the door. We got there before dark so we walked around to get the lay of the land before it got dark. It’s an amazing sight and there are several benches along the way to just sit and watch the lights. At the entrance after you pay, there are food trucks if you’re hungry. There is also a bar at the end of the lights show by the towers as well. It’s about a half mile easy walk if you stay on the path at the bottom. You can go to the top side of the lights as well which is a little moderate walk.
Google maps is incorrect. Follow the digital sign board. ▪️Entry fee is about $47 per person for online tickets ▪️Plenty of parking spots ▪️Some food options ▪️Can see the stars even with the lights ▪️A tunnel at the end of the loops takes you to the light towers
