Yosemite Glamping in Airstreams

Our stay at AutoCamp Yosemite was absolutely incredible. The property is gorgeous, with a peaceful setting that perfectly blends the beauty of nature with modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We stayed in one of the Airstreams, and it exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and had everything we needed while still giving us the feeling of being immersed in the outdoors. Some of our favorite memories were making s'mores at the fire pit outside our Airstream, cooking meals over the fire, and spending our evenings stargazing under some of the clearest skies we've ever seen. We also loved relaxing around the property, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, and unwinding after long days exploring Yosemite National Park. AutoCamp strikes the perfect balance between camping and luxury, making it easy to enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort. Every detail has been carefully considered, creating an experience that is both relaxing and memorable. We loved every second of our stay and would absolutely return. If you're looking for a unique and beautiful place to stay while visiting Yosemite, AutoCamp is an easy five-star recommendation.

My wife came across AutoCamp and thought it sounded like a fun experience. Close to Yosemite, about an hours drive from Yosemite valley lodge, along the beautiful Merced River. The Airstreams are nice, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious as is the shower. Our location was near parking and the lights kept our area brighter than other areas. We were happy with our location made coming and going and packing in and out easier. So just something to keep in mind. The Staff were phenomenal. Every person we spoke to during our 5 days there were Cheerful and helpful. They offer a make your own Pizza where they deliver a pizza oven to your Trailor, tent or Cabin. Pizza turned out great the kit made 2 pizzas so a little more than my wife and I needed. We ate 2 meals in the clubhouse and they were good. We enjoyed their happy hour The cocktails were good, the 1850 beer on tap was good. We will happily stay at Autocamp again I hope all their locations are as good.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable and mostly met our expectations. While AutoCamp is on the higher end in terms of pricing, it felt worth it since many amenities and activities were included. We loved the beautiful landscape, private fire pit, campfire setup, and the open-air concept. As a bonus, we didn't have any issues with bugs or mosquitoes during our stay. One of the highlights was how pet-friendly the property is. We brought our dogs, and it was a thoughtful touch to provide a dog bowl, blanket, treats, and waste bags. Small details like these made us feel very welcome. There were a few areas that could be improved. The EV charging stations were difficult to access because the posted 2-hour charging limit was not being enforced. Despite waiting for several hours and contacting staff, we were never able to use a charger during our stay. A waitlist system or stricter enforcement would help. We also experienced a delayed check-in, as our suite was not ready at the 4:00 PM check-in time and became available about an hour later. Additionally, the shower drain backed up while in use, and the checkout process was slow because one staff member appeared to be handling both the front desk and breakfast orders during the morning rush. Despite these issues, we had a great time and would consider staying again.

This is a great place to stay if visiting Yosemite. Only 45 minutes from the El Portal park entrance, which has the Arch Rock entrance. About 1 hour and 20 minutes from South Gate. We booked a Vista Air stream which was a good location - much more private than the other options. It is up a hill though and the campground is walk in only- so you have to bring a cart with all your stuff which was not horrible, but is a bit of effort. They did offer a golf cart ride to load our stuff in and out, we declined! There were stray cats roaming the property, the cabin next to us actually had small kittens they found in a bush on their site. In the cabin you have a cast iron pan, cutting board, knives, utensils, plates, mugs, wine glasses, an electric water heater and instant coffee, matches, a Bluetooth speaker built into the camper for inside, supplies for cleaning the dishes, fly swatter, small flashlight, and some scissors. The bar and restaurant was nice although we only had drinks, the pizza looked and smelled really good. Entertainment was scheduled for the week and we watched a man playing Banjo for some time on Thursday night. Overall it was a great stay! Definitely a good “glamping” experience.

Absolutely amazing experience! Visited for a Saturday evening one night stay in March and was so surprised with all the amazing amenities. The room itself has everything needed: a spacious shower, a sink & toilet with good water pressure, a small fridge and microwave, a kitchen sink, cooking area, a nice bed and a couch that opens up and can fit one more person on there. Got an unexpected upgrade whe checked in and the room was in a more secluded area so that was nice! The common area was so nice and useful: coffee, meals, swings, couches, anything one might need. There was even a free yoga class with high quality yoga mats provided on Sundays, and every day there is a scheduled event. Even the pathways with numbers for the rooms were lit up so to be found easier. Ordered a pizza set (includes 2 pizzas) and it was tasty, with an over offered to us. Each AutoCamp car/bus has an outside area with a table, chairs, and a bench. The atmosphere was so serene, truly a great place. Also pet friendly! Location: 1 hour away from the Yosemite National Park but pretty okay distance considering the other options. Loved it so much that will visit other AutoCamp locations.
