Yosemite Glamping in Airstreams

With only one night stay. After a long day Yosemite… came back to refreshing dip in the pool, delicious food for dinner at their in home cafe/store. Staff received is with professional hospitality. Helpful guide for what we came for. We have not been disappointed this far staying at different locations AutoCamp in east / west coast…👌🏼💪🏼🏕️⛺️🌄⛰️🏊‍♀️🏊

Absolutely LOVED staying here with my husband and our two dogs. Might I say, this place is truly magical. The grounds are so well-maintained and pristine, I couldn’t stop taking photos! You can’t beat the prime location — short drive to Yosemite plus nearby shops and restaurants in Mariposa. The front desk and all the team members, including housekeeping and maintenance, would go above and beyond to make sure we were happy, comfortable, and take care of. We stayed in one of the airstreams and we loved all of the little touches. They really thought of everything. We stayed in the fall, but I heard in the summertime they do movie nights on Mondays and even host weddings! Only complaint was that we didn’t stay long enough. Can’t wait to come back and we even plan to stay at some of their other locations! ☺️ Thank you AutoCamp Yosemite! 🌲

Loved our stay at the Autocamp Yosemite location! We stayed in an airstream (which was a request of the kids - but one pro-tip, the fold out bed is really only big enough for one kiddo above the age of 8 - so pick up or bring a small air mattress if you have more than one kiddo and it will fit great - Walmart by the airport for $30). The queen bed in the bedroom was SO comfortable and left plenty of space to walk comfortably around the bed and store luggage. Great bathroom too. But what really sealed our stay - the staff at the Autocamp were incredible! They went out of their way to be helpful and engaging (including sitting patiently and listening to all of the stories our sons brought back at the end of the day - thank you Mitch!). The bar (beer and wine and maybe some liquor?) was top notch and had great happy hour prices. Small eats on hand there if you get hungry or don't want to venture out. Tons of outdoor games, pool, etc. - we just loved our stay. And very quiet at night. It is about 40 minutes from Yosemite entrance, so getting a car is a must.

Lovely place to stay when visiting Yosemite. It is around an hours drive to Yosemite which is worth knowing, but was no issue for us. We stayed in one of the tents - we were worried we'd made the wrong choice before we arrived but we need not have been! Everything we could have thought we'd need was provided, including A/C, fridge and cooking utensils (heads up - no forks) The showers in the clubhouse were nice, clean and had access to soaps, shampoo and a hair dryer. The toilets out by the tents again are very pleasant and much better than I'd anticipated. The reason for 4 stars... noise. It says in numerous places that there are quiet hours from 10pm but this did not seem to be enforced, with our neighbours playing loud music until gone midnight both nights. As people who were wanting to get up early to head to Yosemite and then driving 8hrs the following day, this was a disappointing. Ear plugs were essential for our second night to stand any chance of getting to sleep before the neighbours. I know we could have asked them to turn it down, but that's easier said than done when you're in the great outdoors and have already got ready for bed. Moreover, the 'customer' should be respecting the rules, not enforcing them - if no one is monitoring this, there might as well be no advertised quiet times. Overall we had a great stay, and I'd recommend to others but with the caveat of bringing ear plugs.

I am not a glamping guy, but when friends decided to try "camping" for the first time I agreed to bring my family along. As such I am not the target market, so keep that in mind. The facility is nice. Spacing between spots is fairly tight (lots of noise from the next site over), but the airstreams and tents are all well appointed and maintained. The clubhouse and pool were both very nice, and there was live music. There is a hill, so if you are at the top there will be a lot of walking back and forth. We stayed in a tent, over multiple 90+ degrees days. There was an air conditioner which was quite nice at night but during the day it was still very warm, and the bed was quite comfortable. Tents were probably not the primary focus, and there is only the single bathroom facility in the clubhouse for those who choose the tent option. Probably two more bathroom facilities (at each of the far ends) would be a big improvement but that would be a huge infrastructure investment. Overall if you are camping curious (but lack access to gear) or visiting from far away with no way to bring your own gear it is a pretty reasonable facsimile of camping in a beautiful and convenient location. As someone who regularly camps multiple locations every year and has my own gear it felt a bit odd, but we had a good time regardless.
