Yosemite Glamping in Airstreams

My wife came across AutoCamp and thought it sounded like a fun experience. Close to Yosemite, about an hours drive from Yosemite valley lodge, along the beautiful Merced River. The Airstreams are nice, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious as is the shower. Our location was near parking and the lights kept our area brighter than other areas. We were happy with our location made coming and going and packing in and out easier. So just something to keep in mind. The Staff were phenomenal. Every person we spoke to during our 5 days there were Cheerful and helpful. They offer a make your own Pizza where they deliver a pizza oven to your Trailor, tent or Cabin. Pizza turned out great the kit made 2 pizzas so a little more than my wife and I needed. We ate 2 meals in the clubhouse and they were good. We enjoyed their happy hour The cocktails were good, the 1850 beer on tap was good. We will happily stay at Autocamp again I hope all their locations are as good.

We really enjoyed this experience. Worth getting one of the premium sites. More privacy. Better view. Staff was super helpful. They even tracked down and returned a knife we left. Camp store is cute and well stocked. Yosemite less than an hour away.

We had a wonderful stay at this campground! It offers tent sites, RV spaces, unique Airstreams, and cozy glamping tents, making it a great choice for all kinds of travelers. The location is excellent, right at the entrance to the park, and the free parking is a great bonus. We stayed in one of the glamping tents, which was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept really well. Everything is within easy walking distance, and the clubhouse is beautiful. It offers a great selection of food and drinks, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were exceptionally friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The only downside was the pool. It looked quite outdated and didn’t appear to be very clean, so we decided not to use it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this campground to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable glamping experience close to the park.

I was excited to stay and willing to pay more for this experience, but at $700 a night (almost $800 with food and firewood) the value just isn’t there. The trailer is nice, with a fireplace, a table and everything to cook. But cleanliness and maintenance were lacking: dirty fridge, windows so dusty you can’t see through them, dirty window frames and screens, a black shower fan/ not working. The furniture and finishes are already warped, peeling and looking old, and one of our towels had a stain on it. The shower water pressure was inconsistent and the water smelled like a garden hose. For a trailer where the point is the view, clean windows are the minimum. Unloading the car and using a cart to reach the trailer is not practical after a long drive, having staff to help could be nice. The menu has a healthy vibe, but the pizza was frozen, the ravioli was not good/ frozen and the chicken tenders, frozen were cheap quality. The food could be amazing here without a full kitchen: fresh fruit, salads, fresh sandwiches, better pastries or desserts would be great, especially for couples. Firewood is $22 extra and takes forever to burn, " why paying for wood at that nighlty cost" The live music was great, but they played in the dark with no lighting. The rooftop terrace sits empty and could use tables. The heated pool was a plus. It feels designed for an Airstream photo, not a real nature experience. With proper consulting, warmer hospitality and more smiles, this place could be great, and it’s not difficult to fix. But the price is the real issue, it’s a joke. I’ve stayed at an RV park with a classic RV rental, fully set up, and it was ten times better for $140 a night. Good luck AutoCamp, but the first thing I did in the morning was get out of there. Without Yosemite they will close business.

We had an amazing over all experience. It is dog friendly, even a mini dog park for dogs to play. My dog had the best first vacation. The staff was amazing. Anything you asked for they would have it for you. I love how the front desk is open 24/7. The staff are so so nice. The rvs and tents fun and very kid friendly. If you you stay in the tents, the public bathrooms are so clean. The neighbors across the road, said the room was so clean, they even washed the dishes in there. I would absolutely come back. I very much enjoyed my stay at Mid-Pines ca Autocamp.
