I cannot say enough good things about this trip and company! If I could give 6 stars I would!!! They were incredibly welcoming, friendly and made us feel safe and heard! We got to experience such an amazing river with scary and funny times! We chatted when the river was slow, cheered after making it through big rapids, and basked in the sun quietly at times! The food was resort style food, absolutely delicious and healthy!!! They even brought gluten free breads, wraps, and cookies for me which was a huge treat!!! I will be doing another trip with them!! You get what you pay for and it’s the best!!!! I want to mention Katie P, she was our guide! She is a beautiful human ☺️ she was confident, funny and had good energy with our raft team!! I would request her again!!! And that being said the entire team, Albert, Ray and Lili (and Mason and Lily) were outstanding hosts!! Easy to talk to, joke around and loved just getting to know them!!! Thank you for a trip I will always remember and cherish!!!

Just got back from the 2-day safari camping experience with Momentum and what a time it was! These river guides take so much care with each guest, are excellent boaters and just wonderful people in general-the whole company has been great to work with. The glamping experience is top notch- slept like a baby after a night full of fun-the dinners, wine pairings, riverside lunches were all outstanding. This team works so hard! THANK-YOU Mauricio, Alex, Kevin, Lilly, Trish, and everyone else in this superb coordinated effort! I cannot wait to do this again next summer.

Just came back from a two day raft trip down the Kern River and I must say Momentum River Expeditions was an amazing choice to run this trip. We were in a group of four brothers and another couple traveled joined us for the trip. We had two fantastic guides. Our guide, Sonja, was incredibly personable, taking charge of our family energy. She was full of knowledge and experience and had us powering through the rapids from the get go. The trip included an overnight at their Kern Camp hosted by River. Don’t let her size fool you. River was a powerhouse of efficiency and personality. The accommodations were very comfortable. We unfortunately had some rain, cool temps and wind but she made sure there were enough layers to keep us warm and enough hot chocolate to warm our spirits. All in all Momentum runs a really tight ship. They made sure we were all instantly family and provided everything we could expect. I highly recommend them and will most likely travel with them again. The pictures show a snapshot of the delicious food we were served, each meal better than the last, as well as some of the river and camp scenery.

I did the half day Class IV trip with this company and had a fun time. The trip starts at 2 PM, but it's best to arrive at 1:30 PM to sign the waiver and change clothing. The store is well stocked with all the essentials if you forget to bring anything. The company also provides splash jacket, we suit, and water shoes for free if you need that. The bus ride to the launch area took around 20 minutes. You'll then get a safety orientation before boarding. You will see some wild animals such as deers and cows in the trip. There were maybe 4-5 areas with strong current and splash of water. The entire trip took maybe 2 hours.

This review is for the Safari 2 Day rafting trip. We had a BLAST! 10/10 experience. Loved our guides, Mike, Shana and Alex. They were super knowledgable, safe and fun. The safari camp was amazing. so many thoughtful details and touches go into making it a great experience, we were really impressed. It was such a value for what we got and one for the memory books. If you live in the LA area, I think its a must do.
