Description

This location is one of the best for open ocean kayaking adventures. It's a real physical test and a complete reconnection with nature. Santa Cruz Island has one of the largest caves in the world. Trust me, getting inside that cave, seeing pure marine life, touching the cliffs, and hearing waves crash right next to you is unforgettable.

Loved our trip to Channel Islands. The guides are friendly and helpful and try to give you the best experience possible! They gave us time to take a quick hike before our kayak tour. We loved kayaking with Dalton and seeing the caves and sea lions. We even got to see an island fox! On the way back, our ferry driver Joe was nice enough to stop and loop back to let us spend more time with a large group of jumping dolphins!

My husband and I had a great time! I was really impressed with how smooth the entire trip was from booking our tickets, to checking in, and transportation there and back. No confusion, no hidden small print. It was wonderful! The Seawag waterproof phone cases that are sold at the gift shop work marvelously! Lol we did end up falling into the ocean during our kayak tour, but our guide, Arty, took good care of us and made sure we were safe. That little swim in the ocean is now one of my favorite parts of the trip! 😆 The hiking was excellent also!

We had a great time on the tour. It surpassed our expectations and a 10/10 recommendation if you are visiting Santa Cruz Island. John was our tour guide and he was extremely informative on the island, and had so many memories that he shared about his past tours. It was a very unique and special way to see the island, from the water, and the caves were exceptional. I wish I could be out there again today!!

My husband and I went on a kayak tour and it was a great experience. Our tour guide Lisa was incredible. She had such a passion for the islands and the wildlife. I love how she paused throughout the tour to teach us and educate us about the kelp, the fish, the seals, the history of the park, and much more. It really enriched the experience. The kayaking was a fun way to see a different side of the island versus just walking or hiking. I would have loved to snorkel too but we went in April, which was too early in the season. I'd recommend it for sure!

Amazing and full day. The weather was perfect and I needed to apply sunscreen more than once! We had Steve as our tour guide and he was funny and informative. And loving his work during his retirement! Would definitely suggest to a friend
