Explore the Wonders of Point Dume Nature Preserve Hike

The point doom is a beautiful place to enjoy the view. You need to walk a little bit around 15 minutes but it is definitely worth the hike. Furthermore I would recommend wearing sneaker or comfortable shoes in order to reach the point better. Bonus tip, you could take some snacks and drinks and just enjoy the view while the sunsets. What I found interesting is that there were people climbing , wouldn’t do it, but look cool. I also saw the ice cream truck so you can enjoy your ice cream while watching the astonishing view.

Absolutely amazing views of the cove on one side and Zuma Beach below on the other. There's limited parking, so arrive early and read the signs. There's public stair access to the cove and a walking path that has a boardwalk for part of it. The trail leads you around to the main outcrop, but there's plenty of viewing spots along the way. Keep an eye out for the beautiful flora and fauna, including seals and sea lions. You might even see dolphins if you're lucky! An easy walk about a mile or so. Would recommend to most people for a quick visit.

Amazing hike and views. Fairly easy, not too steep at all, you can go high to the clouds or down by the water, but either way the views are fantastic. Great spot for sunrise/sunsets. Highly recommend the trek!

This hike is a must do if you’re in the area and looking for great views. If the free parking lot spots are taken there is an additional paid lot which isn’t too expensive, and it is basically at the foot of the hike plus have easy beach access. Parts of the hike are on sandy trail so I don’t recommend flip flops. Minimum runners. Awesome views from up top.
