Hike the Iconic Upper Yosemite Falls Trail

Nothing like it. It's a steep hike to the first viewpoint, but rather short. We went in the morning and there were a few mosquitoes in the shade. When we reached OMG Point, the falls were still in the shadow of the rock. We waited until they were lit up and it was worth the wait. Highest falls in continental United States at 2,425 feet.

The power of Yosemite Falls is diminishing the further we get into the summer months. Driven by Sierra snow melt, the raging thunderous water blasting over the top of the Falls is waning, but is still flowing, albeit at a reduced rate. Yosemite Falls is one of the most gorgeous falls in the United States. I have to see it far away, and I have to get close to it and get wet. I come here many times with friends and family. Everyone is enjoyed this beautiful place. It is always so many people except when you're here before 10 o'clock in the morning.
