Travel in time at Hearst Castle

Today we went to go visit Hearst Castle and we have wanted to go there for sometime. It was amazing. We did two tours. The first one was the grand rooms and the second was upstairs suites. The nice thing is both those tours took two different past to get into the building so we got different views. Each took almost 2 hours, including ride time up to the castle. The two guys were fantastic, and everybody who worked there which just couldn’t be nicer.

Wow!! We have toured alot of mansions in the US and a few in Europe. This was by far one of the best! The tours are informative, the guides are very professional. The furniture in the building are actually from the era or orginal which is never the case! The grounds and castle are very well preserved and kept up. If you only have time for one tour do the upstairs tour. It gives you some outside time, and inside and covers some if the basic tour. Definitely a lot to see! They have a resturant up there so you could make the day of it if you booked a few tours back to back

Hearst castle is such a great experience overall, wear comfortable shoes, be prepared to do some walking around the large estate. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. My husband and I have done 3 of their tours so far and each tour just unlocks more incredible history about the Hearst Estate, we love coming here!

So much to see. Many different tours you can take. Tour guide was great. Shuttle nice out to the castle. Place is awesome and very well cared for. Buy tickets and reserve your time as it's busy. Some tours can have a lot of stairs.

I had the chance to visit this place, and the view was absolutely stunning. The building itself exudes luxury and attention to detail. After hearing the history from the tour guides, I was truly impressed. There are various tour options available—I chose the overview tour, which was a fantastic experience. I’m looking forward to exploring a more detailed tour in the future.
