We had a wonderful stay at Ventana Campground at Site 2. While it’s located near the entrance and having to deal with cars passing by at night, it is actually much more spacious than the campsites toward the back of the grounds, and it has the added bonus of being close to the bathhouse. We accidentally forgot our towels, and I was so grateful that the staff was able to lend us some! Another huge plus is convenience: you can charge firewood, ice, and shower tokens directly to your "room," which is great if you're trying to maximize earning Hyatt points. The SurStream was a really pleasant surprise, too. It was so nice to grab pizza, gelato, and drinks right on-site. It is open seasonally though.

We had a great camping experience here! The bathrooms were clean and modern, and the grounds were well-maintained. There were also scenic nearby hiking trails. We highly recommend the camp sites near the river. We didn’t have any mosquitoes, but we did notice that some sites were closer together than others. Also the food airstream pop-up was so cute and the wine was tasty!

We went glamping for two nights and it was the coolest experience ever. From the amount of space we had, to the heated blankets, it was a 10/10 experience. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. Housekeeping will even come and give you new towels, make the bed, and take out the trash. It was so beautiful and an experience I would recommend to everyone!

Very pretty and easy to negotiate. Close to beach. Beach is a four mile drive from the campground. Sites are well maintained and cleaned. Showers and great bathrooms. Sites are not RV friendly . Sites are too close together and not laid out well. Noisy place was the sad part for being in the redwoods

Fantastic campground, stayed at site 49 which was one of the smaller sites. I would not recommend it if you have more than one tent. Super clean facilities and really love the air stream area with a fire pit, snacks and drinks! Will be back!
