Description

The Absolute Charm Safari Wine Tour provides an adventurous wine tasting experience in Fredericksburg, Texas. The tour starts with a visit to Longneck Manor, where you can feed and take photos with giraffes. The adventure continues as you visit three selected local wineries and enjoy VIP tastings of their popular wines. In each venue, you will get a detailed introduction to each vintage by a local wine expert. Enjoy some leisure time to soak up the beautiful hill country scenery and possibly catch some live local music on weekends and holidays. The vehicle varies by season, either a safari vehicle seating up to 20 or a Mercedes Sprinter vehicle seating up to 11.

I can not recommend this tour highly enough. We were lucky enough to have Mike and his fantastic wife Nikki as the dream team tour guides. They took exceptional care of us, from carrying our bags to timing the stops, every little detail was taken care of. On top of that, they were so FUN! Educating and engaging our whole group on the history of the area while providing thoughtful recommendations on food and wine! We will absolutely be coming back to them for our next tour and encourage you to do the same.

Mike is the best tour guide/driver I feel like we have ever had. He was knowledgeable, interactive/personable, prompt, never left us unsure of where to go or what to do. At each winery we were set up for success before he departed to allow us to privately enjoy our experience. He also has a bomb snack basket and waters for our enjoyment. Brain was a wonderful guide. My girlfriend and I were completely new to wine and Fredericksburg and Brian gave us an excellent history background of the city. His recommendations for the food and wine options were spot on. Brian was very friendly and professional throughout the whole experience making sure everything was perfect. He was also a great photographer. I would recommend this experience to anyone especially if Brian is leading the tour! My girlfriend and I will definitely be booking again in the future. Absolute Charm was an Absolute Charm! We shied away from a group tour at first but, Barry our driver was so great, asked us all what we were celebrating and encouraged the group of strangers to become friends. The Group Tour was so fun! We visited 3 beautiful wineries, had great tastings and bought lots of wine to take home! I highly recommend Absolute Charm and we will book again!

This was an incredible tour! My wife and I were extremely impressed with the historical and local vineyard knowledge of Mike Ryan. He made the entire experience feel extremely personable and friendly. All the arrangements were made expertly advance and it was incredibly convenient; Mike went above and beyond our expectations for this tour! We were treated to friendly Wine tour guides and treated to many unique tasting experiences, where we learn so much through our amazing Wine Tastings. We received an expert Fredericksburg tour; including a list of perfect and detailed recommendations of places to visit and eat from Mike.
