Discover the San Antonio Botanical Garden

Amazing stop in SATX! An expansive gardens with well organized exhibits. Beautiful photo opportunities, plenty of seating, and shade to escape the heat. The indoor plant collections with the orchids and tropical flora were incredible. I would rank this as an absolute must stop in the city and top-tier as far as general botanical gardens go. The on-property restaurant was also very delicious with friendly staff. I’d recommend making a reservation if you plan on visiting on a busy day.

This place is awesome. So beautiful and refreshing to visit. Very wheelchair accessible as well so that is a huge plus for me. The restaurant was OK, maybe 3 stars at best. Lots of flies in the restaurant, food was mediocre, service was a little on the slow side for the price. Will for sure be back to visit the gardens. The old buildings on the property were also pretty cool to check out. Bring a blanket and relax by the pond. Wasn't very busy on a Friday in April. Highly recommend!!!!

So glad we made this stop on our trip. The flowers were amazing but the orchids were absolutely worth the price of admission. So many unusual varieties! If you are a plant lover this is a place you must visit! It was an especially nice touch that there were flowers in the restrooms. Just attention to every detail in the gardens and it shows.

San Antonio's Botanical Gardens are a magical place to visit for young and older. The variety of events, scenic overlooks, and spiraling walks are well crafted, and the walking is pretty easy. I have shown some of what you can see but you owe it to yourself to go and absorb the beauty, fun, and all they have to offer, you won't be disappointed....

Went to see North Mississippi Allstars for our first visit to the Gardens! Unfortunately most of the Park was closed except for the areas where the concert was held. There was a couple vendors, an ice cream cart and a BBQ truck. Full bars available too. No cash, card only. Looking forward to seeing more shows and checking out the whole Gardens soon!
