Take the Grand Tour of Augusta Vin Winery

My husband and I stopped by during a birthday getaway to Fredericksburg, and we loved it so much that we ended up becoming members before we left! The wines were absolutely fantastic. They offer an incredible variety, so there’s truly something for every palate, and every wine we tasted was outstanding. The quality was impeccable from start to finish, and it was clear how much care and attention goes into every bottle. We enjoyed discovering different styles and were impressed by how consistently excellent each pour was. The property is beautiful, but what really made the experience stand out was the service from Ryan and the gentleman who was training with him. They were both incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. They took the time to share their knowledge, answer our questions, and made us feel right at home. Thank you both for making our visit so memorable and helping make my birthday trip even more special. We can’t wait to come back!

The service was exceptional. The prime rib sandwich was very tasty but a bit small for the price. But it was an experience. We sat outside with a nice breeze. The view was phenomenal. We had a Sweet Rose wine. I only like sweet wines and I think it was very good.

Our tour guide, Melissa, was very sweet and funny. We enjoyed the wines and learning about the production process. I definitely recommend even if you are not much of a wine drinker.

Lovely Sunday afternoon listening to the guitar music. Our server Forbes was great and gave us great service checking on us regularly as well as being personable and engaging. Susan in the no nonmember tasting room was very helpful with picking up our wine and helping us with another matter.

Absolutely stunning winery! From the moment we walked in, the views of the vineyards were breathtaking. It’s the perfect spot to sit outside, unwind, and enjoy a gorgeous afternoon. Forbes was incredibly knowledgeable and walked us through each pour with genuine enthusiasm. We will definitely be back!
