Don’s has been my favorite floating location for several years. They make it so easy to float the river. $30 includes your parking, tube and shuttle to the drop off point. Air is provided if you bring your own tubes and then a short walk to drop into the water. Floats average 3-5 hours depending on the water flow and how many stops you make along the way at any of the lil’ beaches. It’s a beautiful experience with giant trees, local foliage, turtles and a symphony of cicadas. In 5 years I’ve never had to get out and walk due to low water. Some places are shallow however and some places are deep so when you need to cool down you can hop out and swim a bit. There are 3-4 areas with some short under stimulating rapids, just enough excitement to put a smile on your face, but nothing to be scared of. Be prepared, no glass, cans only. Reusable containers even better. Bring a small cooler, water shoes, a hat, sunscreen and easy snacks. Bluetooth speaker optional. Leave your towel in the car. When your float is over you exit directly into the Don’s parking lot.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Jaime was very helpful with booking a private shuttle, appreciate how responsive and proactive the communication was. Our driver Juan was also amazing! We all had a great time and found it extremely easy. 10/10 using Don's for our next river trip.

Highly recommend! They’re organized, very nice employees, $21 is not bad at all. Bus ride was about 15 min and the float was around 4hrs depending on how many other tubers are floating with you. They have a station to blow up your tube for free just before you go down the hill to put in the water & the free trashbag (nets) provided was a great idea too. Get there early & bring a handheld oar in case you need extra help paddling!

Alright... so I had a blast. The river was beautiful, as always, and the weather was pretty perfect with some cloud coverage from time to time. I went at 12:30PM on a Thursday and the shuttle to the drop off left right after I paid. The only issue I had was that once dropped off I went to inflate my tube, I bring my own, but they didn't have the connection for an ordinary black tube. So I had to take two of their tubes so I could tow mine back. I tried calling a couple of times but couldn't get through. That said... All went well and I had a great time. Here's some things to know... If you are bringing your own tube do not inflate it beforehand. There are some great places to sit and enjoy yourself alms you really should. It took me about 3 hours on a weekday. I will be back... just need to figure out my tube situation. It felt weird not having my usual tube. KEEP THE RIVER CLEAN!
