Beautiful water, pretty cold but so refreshing in TX heat. All spring fed so it’s always clear and cool. 5.5 miles of trails around the park, not hard to complete. One trail even walks you along the creek for half a mile and takes you to downtown Wimberley! Love this place, perfect for summer swimming and year round hiking

Absolutely beautiful and magical park! They require reservations for swimming so plan in advance but, on the positive it prevents overcrowding. The water is crystal clear and refreshing providing a peaceful sanctuary to swimmers. They have a shallow zone perfect for kids and a fun rope swing on the deeper side. The lawn has ample space to set up camp and, they have clean restrooms with changing rooms close by. Love this gorgeous swimming hole and recommend to anyone visiting!

Blue Hole is a true Texas treasure and an unforgettable place to spend a summer day. The crystal-clear, spring-fed water is refreshingly cold, even on the hottest days. One of the most beautiful features is the magnificent cypress trees that line the swimming area, their branches stretching out over the water to form a natural canopy that provides shade and creates a stunning setting. The rope swings add plenty of fun and adventure, while the clean restrooms and changing areas make the experience even more enjoyable. Everything is exceptionally well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxed, family-friendly, and welcoming. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance, as reservations are often required and can sell out quickly. Blue Hole is a unique Texas wonder that is absolutely worth experiencing.

We loved it! Went there yesterday 5/23/26 and it is crystal water even though it’s been raining the past day. Park is really clean and great for an afternoon and enjoy with family. It is a small park and swimming area but worth it. Bring everything for picnic and swimming. Enjoy it.

This is beautiful relaxing place. Water is cold. There is shade everywhere. You can bring your own food and drinks. Bring some floats/tubes. Restrooms are well kept and cleaned. There are no showers but there are changing rooms. They have a vending machine. Air compressor for your floats. Important! Make a reservation in advance or you will not be allowed to enter.
