We loved our stay here! Such a quaint little spot! A private, calm setting. Exactly what we were looking for during our short visit to Waco. The hot tub was great and being able to see the sunrise from the bed each morning. The pond and the little communal area with pool is an added bonus. Perfect for a couple or two. I'm sure it's even more lovely when the trees are back in bloom!

We had an amazing, peaceful, and relaxing stay at the Lakeside South Cabin. The host provided everything we could possibly need, from ample towels and linens to well-stocked kitchen and bathroom essentials. We were thoroughly impressed by the cabin's thoughtful, modern design, and everything, including the patio, was impeccably clean upon our arrival. The best part was the seamless checkout process; not having a long list of chores allowed us to stay relaxed right up until the very last minute. I would come back every weekend if my wallet permitted 😅 but this definitely won’t be our last time!

If you're looking for a peaceful escape to disconnect from the busy pace of everyday life, Live Oak Lake is the perfect place. The cabins are incredibly cozy, surrounded by nature, and designed to help you relax and recharge. Everything feels calm, private, and inviting, making it easy to enjoy the quiet atmosphere. One of my favorite parts was just outside the property, where there's a beautiful white rock hill that creates a unique and scenic landscape. It's a great spot to stop, take photos, and appreciate the natural beauty of the area. Overall, Live Oak Lake is a hidden gem in Waco for anyone looking for tranquility, comfort, and a refreshing getaway. I would definitely love to come back. 🌿🤍

Spent a few days here as a birthday treat. Live Oak Lake is a perfect place to disconnect from any and all worries. The ammenities are all you could ever want while Glamping (I was too scared to do the real thing). The resort offers kayaks, grills, hot tubs, and private container pools (pretty cool as I have never seen one before). My favorite thing was sitting in the common area watching the sun set over the pond. My unit was very spacious for 1 person (probably more square feet than my house lol). The grounds are maintained real well and it is obvious how much love and thought was put into building this country oasis. It was very quiet out here and dog friendly, too. I will have to come back real soon!

Beautiful spot, but a little pricey for what you get. Live Oak Lake is a genuinely pretty place to stay. The cabins are nice, the setting is lovely, and the whole thing is a lot of fun — a little cluster of cabins around a small lake (more of a pond, really, but still scenic). Even with one full glass wall, which felt a bit awkward at first, the cabin stayed surprisingly private despite several other cabins around the water. A few things held it back. The hot tub was completely unusable — full of fallen tree branches and debris, and it smelled like stagnant fish water. When I reached out about it, no one responded for about three hours, by which point we'd already gone to sleep. There was also a quiet but persistent beeping somewhere in the cabin — muffled, almost every minute, the entire stay, and we never could find the source. For the price, I expected more. It runs a little pricey for the lack of working amenities and the slow customer service. Bottom line: a beautiful, fun place to stay — just don't count on much help if something goes wrong during your visit.
