Very unique! It says “River” domes, but I didn’t see the river. Lots of tall bushes and I’m pretty sure the water level was low. Insignificant really. The dome was very secure and had everything we needed. A/C and additional fan, a heater, modern bathroom, robes, a mini kitchen with a fridge and microwave. The dome has a ceiling light feature with several colors to choose from and also a party mode that made the colors flash. Nice deck with chairs around a fire pit and a hammock. The bed was comfortable (mattress is firm, which I prefer) and had several fluffy pillows. In the morning, we pulled back the curtains and laid in the bed enjoying the natural light from the giant dome windows. When the water level is up in the river, this would be even more incredible. Pricey but worth it. I would love to live in one of these things.

Parking number was a great idea and made our stay convenient. This dome made for a unique experience. Every detail was well thought out down to the extra little blankets. We enjoyed the deck and fire ring on a cool and breezy evening. This place was very tidy and clean. I loved the coffee set up and now want to get rid of my coffee pot ha ha. I will add that the shower was so refreshing with great heat and pressure. We will be coming again.

Pros... Rooms are excellent, clean, innovative, unique, and fun. Beds are comfy, this place is so cool! There are some good views where we saw deer in the morning, and a nice little deck with fire pits and a hammock. Service is great, quick to respond. Rooms are cleaned well and inviting. Cons... Yes there are cons. The location is the Achilles heel here. It's too close to a highway and the noise can be very loud, especially due to 18 wheelers with their engine brakes very early in the morning and late night live music in town. These domes do not block out louder sounds. Don't plan on sleeping in or going to sleep very early. Bring earplugs. All that said, we still enjoyed it and will be back. 👍🏻. Its worth the stay if not for the unique experience.

The Pagosa River Domes were great—beautifully and thoughtfully designed inside and out, very clean. Bed was super comfy with nice linens, kitchen had everything and loved the fire pit, grill and sitting outside on our private deck. Staff were extremely helpful and over the top customer service. Will return and bring friends next trip!

We had never stayed at a dome before and it was amazing! Every little detail was so thought out (robes, slippers, coffee station, etc…) and it was very clean. We enjoyed the fire pit on the private deck SO much. Thank you for the experience!
