Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo Luxury Glamping Adventure

Our stay at Westgate River Ranch Rodeo was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. We are beyond pleased with the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere made us feel like we had stepped into a true western getaway — peaceful, scenic, and perfectly organized. The activities were not only fun but very well coordinated, making it easy to enjoy every moment without feeling rushed. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and far exceeded our expectations for a ranch-style experience. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and added to the charm of the trip. The entertainment, especially the rodeo show, was a highlight. It was lively, authentic, and something we’ll be talking about for a long time. The staff throughout the property were welcoming, helpful, and genuinely added to the warmth of the stay. This was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and unique experiences. Whether it was horseback riding, the outdoor activities, water park has a great pool for adults to enjoy or simply enjoying the beautiful surroundings, every part of our visit felt memorable. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our next visit. We are truly excited to come back!

We had an absolute blast at River Ranch! The resort has such a fun atmosphere, plenty to do, and it’s the perfect place to kick back, have some fun, and make great memories. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to! And I’ve got to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Robbin at the Trap & Skeet Range! She was absolutely amazing fun, super cool, welcoming, and an incredible Range Safety Officer. She made the experience even more enjoyable and kept everything safe while making sure everyone had a great time. Robbin, you ROCK! Thank you for making our day at the range so much fun! My family and I had a nice stay at Westgate River Ranch. We stayed in our RV on the property in the back and one of our favorite things was driving the golf cart around to explore everything. There are tons of activities, so we were never bored. Free experiences:
The free activities were a nice bonus. My kids enjoyed the free archery and the petting zoo. The resort pool is really hot though. Paid experiences: We ate at the BBQ restaurant, and the food was delicious and prices were fair. Kids activity center we paid $17.99 pp the mechanical bull and rock climbing the kids enjoyed. We visited the water park, but unfortunately it was extremely crowded, and the water park water was so hot that it wasn’t refreshing at all and it was a hot day it was 99degrees outside. We ended up leaving after about an hour because it was too uncomfortable to enjoy $19.00 pp was a waste of money. We went to the rodeo as well, and while it was entertaining, at $35.00 pp we felt it was overpriced for the quality and length of the show Lastly, I understand the importance of keeping guests safe, but we felt like security was constantly following us around, which made us feel stalked. At one point, they stopped my son to check his driver’s license which he had but they didn’t check anyone else’s they are not cops and it was my personal golf cart not the resorts.Later, while he was riding his regular, non-motorized bicycle, they told him he wasn’t allowed to do a wheelie or bike tricks while riding. These interaction made him feel harassed and took away from what should have been a fun for him he’s a 22 year old boy and wasn’t doing anything wrong but it was the same security guard who had it out for him. Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed the variety of activities available. However, I hope management can find a better balance between enforcing rules I know some people live there and use the property as their residence so they have all these HOA type rules but they also have to respect guest that come and pay $$$ to vacation there ppl spend $$$ on activities food and drinks and yet felt like we couldn’t fully relax.

We had a wonderful stay. EVERYONE was excellent. Our son is autistic and we have never felt more welcomed than here. The maintenance man that had to come and plunge our toilet this morning was awesome. He was very polite and blessed our day. AMAZING The young lady at the pool yesterday and today wishing our son happy birthday and talking to him, amazed us. Most people avoid him. She did not. Front desk staff, lady at the front gate, the ice cream shop, the people at the pool slide 🛝 every person we had contact with were such a pleasure to meet. Thank you so much.... we will definitely be back. For longer stay hopefully

We just returned from our first 4-night stay at Westgate River Ranch with our two daughters, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize Kylee Simcox for the outstanding service she provided throughout our visit. Kylee went above and beyond from the very beginning. She was always attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure our family had everything we needed. Whether we had a question, needed information about the resort, or simply crossed paths outside our room, she always greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. One gesture that especially stood out was when she had towels ready for us at the water park before it even opened. It may seem like a small thing, but it made our morning with two young children so much easier and showed how much she cares about the guest experience. What impressed us most was that her kindness never felt forced—it felt genuine. She consistently went out of her way to check on us and make sure our family was enjoying our stay. Kylee was a big part of what made our first visit to Westgate River Ranch such a wonderful experience. Employees like her are rare, and she deserves recognition for the exceptional customer service she provides every day. Thank you, Kylee, for helping create such special memories for our family. We truly appreciated everything you did for us. The room was absolutely amazing. I just wish they would have told us that we were right next to the saloon.🤣 It was a little loud throughout the night, but thankfully we’re easy-going and we didn’t mind
