Sensory deprivation tanks are quite large, fitting Individuals up to 6’6 comfortably. It can be a tight squeeze for those taller than that, but with proper angling we can accommodate up to 6’8.

Yes, you don’t want to go into the session hungry or overly full. We recommend eating within two hours of your appointment.

You can still float if you’re claustrophobic. To accommodate you, we can open the top of the float pod. You may feel a bit cold due to the lid not keeping in the water heat, however you are still experiencing all the benefits of the service.

It’s very common to fall asleep while in the pods and many find it to be an incredibly restorative nap. You are fully supported by the salt water solution so you have nothing to worry about. If you twitch in your sleep, you may get salt water in your eyes, so we have a fresh water spray to help relieve any burning. Our staff will call the intercom when your session is complete to make sure you do not oversleep.

No, it’s like laying down in bed. It might take some time to find the sweet spot in terms of body position, but once you do, it is truly effortless. The saline solution fully supports your head, so once you accept that and fully relax, the neck tension is relieved. We also include a floating neck pillow to help you fully relax. When in water, our natural instinct is to tense our neck and shoulders to keep our head above the surface. If you are concerned with this happening we recommend starting the session with the neck pillow then removing when you trust your head is supported. The saline solution completely supports your head, so lay back and rest, the neck tension is relieved.

You can bring goggles and/ or a swimming cap if you are concerned about getting salt water in your eyes, however this may impact your ability to relax fully. We provide: Ear Plugs Vaseline for any cuts or scrapes Towels Shampoo Conditioner Bodywash

Sanitation is a top priority at LIVKRAFT. When the tanks are not in use, they are constantly filtering the water using Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) that kills and/or inactivates microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA. We also use Ozone (O3) in our float pods. It has been found that ozone is 50 times more powerful than chlorine, while also killing bacteria 3,000 times faster than it. Ozone eliminates bacteria, mold and yeast, as well as organic material and viruses—while not removing dissolved minerals, such as the 1,200 pounds of magnesium sulfate in your pod! ‍ Ozone also leaves no odor, and reverts to pure oxygen once oxidation is completed, leaving no trace of its presence.

Though it is not recommended during the 1st trimester, float therapy has been found to relieve back pain in pregnant women during the 2nd and 3rd trimester. Always consult with your physician prior to undergoing any service.
